No. That's a load of horse-crap. Guys can be monogamous just as much as girls; it's all about self control. You don't cheat in a relationship because you love the woman you're with and don't want to hurt her.
I'll grant that men have more of a "sow the wild oats" mentality that is genetically programmed into our brains (how do you think the human population got started?), but it CAN be controlled by somebody with some actual morality.
My advice to women everywhere: don't settle for a loser who has no self control. It's the ultimate sign of weakness.

Well honey, in the world today, though there are still guys who are monogamous, majority of them have been serial monogamous since teen years though. Within Western culture, serial monogamy is considered more fundamental than "full" monogamy. The behavior is seen as beneficial insofar as it allows needed testing (through dating) before making a lasting commitment, but as a problem when the cycle of beginning and ending relationships repeats infinitely. Relatively few people consciously enter a long-term relationship wanting it to eventually end so as to begin another.
Divorce
Serial monogamy has always been closely linked to divorce practices. Whenever procedures for obtaining divorce have been simple and easy, serial monogamy has been found. As divorce has continued to become more accessible, more individuals have availed themselves of it, and many go on to remarry.
Cheers and have a nice week ahead :)

No.
From personal experience my guys didn't have trouble being monogamous...
To the best of my knowledge, they never cheated...
There are many wonderful guys out there that would end the relationship before they labeled themselves a "cheater"...
Just look for the special signs I told you about before...

No.
But it takes two people to be momogamous and the guy is only one of them. He can't force her to be monogamous and sometimes when she show a loss of interest, he sees that as him failing and rather than accept that failure, he shows a loss of interest as well. I have sen this bust up a mariage or six or seven. It is not always the guy.
It is always the couple.

Speaking for myself, I don't struggle with that issue.
Reason being; I'm a one woman's man.
But I'm fully aware that whether or not a person chooses to be
monogamous depends solely upon their own morals or lack thereof. As well as, their willingness to resist the temptations of the flesh. And that's the mentality of that person's psyche.
Whether it be male or female........Peace.

Don't think so, because our society still needs monogamous people ..but it will change...look to the statistic of divorces etc.even in big cities ore modern western countries.and the higher the education even of women is the higher is the divorce rate.1..they have enough money to live their life.2. they are intelligent enough to resist the pressure/con troll of their lovely husbands...isn't it?.But...Kapitalism will atomise this "holy family" soon...promise..b. they involve more and more women in the process of production..reducing their traditional role of the keeper of reproduction of the working power of their husband.
2.Monogamy is just a question of culturally /historical conventions of societies...look to Arabian cult..... to Asian c. (India) 3. its just a question of rich- and poorness.

No, not at all, but the questions is:
Is it very difficult for girls to be monogamous?

It can be, depends on the situation. Trust makes a huge difference. Physicality (which is programmed into alpha male) can make a difference. Depends on way too many factors. I wish I could make sense for everyone to fathom.. Too much to speak of . Novels could be written.. Regards.~bill

*I think maybe guys are a bit more apt to stray than women or maybe that they have a harder time resisting*
I do believe if a guy is with someone he truly loves, and is truly loved in return, he will be be more likely to stay monogamous*

No more or less than it is for women. It is WAY easier for a woman to get some then it is on a man. People have this false illusion that men cheat more, when it is more equal or even the oppositte.
