Technically, any place on the Earth's surface where there is lava erupting has nothing at all between the surface and the mantle; these places are holes in the crust.

I'm assuming it's the Mariana Trench since that's the lowest point on earth. It's about seven miles deep.

Mid Atlantic ridge, its a point where the tectonic plates pull away from each other, its where the crust is the thinnest.

thats true:any place on the Earth's surface where there is lava erupting....but some where in mid ocean..if you mean surface the poles i think..
