Using your example, try to rephrase it, something like this:
An object is travelling 65 miles per hour. After 30 miles, how much time has elapsed? (Or, at a speed of 65 miles per hour, how much time is required to travel 30 miles?)
30 miles / (65 miles/hour) = 0.4615 hours. (Remember to "cancel out" the appropriate units as you do the division).
Now if you want to know how many minutes that is, you need to know how many minutes are in an hour. There are 60 minutes in 1 hour.
So...
0.46 hours x (60 minutes/hour) = 27.6 minutes.
You can check this just by thinking about it: If a car is travelling at 65 miles an hour, it should be able to travel 65 miles in one hour. To travel half that distance (32.5 miles) should require half the time (30 minutes). So that sort of approximation should tell you that 27.6 minutes is a reasonable answer (and in this case, it's also correct).

the answer is currently in hours because you did this when you divided:
miles / (miles / hour) = hours
now multiply that fraction by the number of minutes in an hour (60) to get the time in minutes. Then you can use the decimal part of the result and multiply it by the number of seconds in a minute (60) to get the seconds.

An hour is 60 minutes, so .461538462 x 60 = 27.69 minutes. However, if you want distance in a hour, you already have 65 miles/hour x .461538462 hour, and that's just 30 miles.

30 miles covered in the stated fraction of an hour.
multiply by 60 to get equivalent in minutes. Then subtract
the integer minutes from that and multiply the remaining
decimal by another 60 to get the secondsNow you know
0 hours, minutes and seconds elapsed.

.461538462 means the time is a fraction of an hour.
To get minutes, multiply it by 60 since there are 60 minutes in an hour:
x 60 = 27, or 27 minutes
To get seconds, multiply the remaining fraction less 27:
0.69230772 x 60 = 41.5 seconds
Then:
0.461538462 = 27 minutes 41.5 seconds
Drive safely ..... :)

That is .461538462 hours. Or 27.6923 miutes.
The question is 30 miles/65miles/hours. Which equals .461538462 hours
Velocity ( MPH ) is distance divide by time. When dividing distance by velocity the distance units are removed or canceled leaving time.

DEPENDS ON WHAT TIME SPECIFICATION YOU WANT. IN MINUTES, MULTIPLY IT TIMES 60 AND YOU HAVE THE MINUTES (THE DECIMALS ARE THE SECONDS, FOR WHICH YOU HAVE TO MULTIPLY AGAIN TIMES SIXTY AND ROUND UP TO THE SECOD DIGIT).
