It wasn't long ago that I made the connection between fluorescent lights and the headaches I was getting. Is there any way to prevent them?
It seems like fluorescent lights are everywhere now a days. A year ago I thought it might be a good idea to replace all the bulbs in the house with them. I thought that I could save energy and make my electric bill go down. This was not the case. In fact a few bulbs died out after 6 months of use. This was way before the 5 year warranty the package had promised. I plan on replacing these bulbs with the "full-spectrum" type lights very soon.
I read somewhere that fluorescent light also increases your risk of diseases such as cancer. Is this true?

Tv screens rarely give me headaches. computer screens do but only after a very long time of looking at them. its the fluorescent lights at work and school that are giving me my headaches.
