My friend hoards everything from television sets to cases and cases of food. He cannot buy just 1 of anything, he buys everything in the case or 2. He just recently put of 4 shelving units for his "finds" He has put shelving units up in every room in his house and he has 1 room just for what he calls "storage" He has 3 freezers full of food in the garage, 1 freezer full in the breezeway and a fridge full in the kitchen.
He is divorced, all his kids have moved out and are adults. His house is so full you cannot move around without climbing around cases and cases of food...everything from stewed tomato's to soup.
He has 5 water jugs full of water. He has a room full of plastic containers full of stuff. Its unbelievable. I cannot marry him unless he stops this nonsense and gets his life together. He is a great person except for his hoarding and filth. Have psychiatrist ever come up with a reason for hoarding?

I have noticed that my 5-year-old son likes girly things!
He likes those damn Judy Garland slippers at Target.
He wants floral prints on his shirt.
He rolls his eyes in the Gay way!
He even runs like a sissy!

Our older son, who is 6, is all man!
He likes sports and refuses to wear floral prints and unless it’s blue or red he won’t put it on.
He is aggressive and competitive and fights with anyone who gets in his way.
He loves the movies Cars and Everyone’s Hero and Robin Hood.

The 5-year-old would rather watch Pocahontas or Little Mermaid!
What do you think?
Can I change his habits?
I am worried that our newborn will emulate this behavior, as he grows older!
How do I make him understand that his choices affect the whole family and reflect on my parenting in general?
Should I beat him?

How did this happen?
It is unnatural right?

Please help…I don’t understand where I went wrong.
How can we make our 6-year-old more like our 5-year-old?

I've kept my distance from them since I saw them all playing in the parking lot about a week or two ago because I know Mama Cat more than likely won't let me anywhere near her babies, but I loooove watching them play. All of the kittens are absolutely adorable and I'm now worried that they may get hurt. The people in my apartment complex aren't exactly the world's best drivers (there are a few people who park in spots that aren't even parking spaces, if that tells you anything **rolls eyes**), and I'm scared that I'm going to walk outside one day to a run-over kitten :-(
I'm a little if-y about calling the animal shelter because I'm afraid they'll put Mama Cat and her babies to sleep. I already have a VERY territorial cat of my own so I can't take them in myself. What should I do about Mama Cat and her kittens?

I have noticed that most females I know are really closer to their mothers than their fathers. Actually, I've noticed that males are usually closer to their mothers also. I've gone through my manuscript three times now. I hate it. I think it's garbage! But I have many friends that tell me that I'm just being overly critical. That they love it, and think I should start looking for publication. I don't want to embarrass myself. I need to find someone who will not tell me it's good for fear of hurting my feelings!
