I'm staying at a Hilton, and it says you have to check in at 3PM, but I won't be able to check in, until about 6PM, because of my flight.

Will that be okay?

The website says

Check-In: 3:00 PM - Check-Out: 12:00 PM

You don't have to check-in at 3pm -- they just mean you are allowed to check-in after 3pm (that's when most rooms are available for new guests).

You should be ok checking in at 6, however, you might want to call the hotel and have them make a note in your reservation file that you'll be checking in a bit late.

Does it say you HAVE to check in by 3 PM, or that you can't check in UNTIL 3. PM. If the former, I would just give the hotel a call and let them know the situation, and you should be OK. They must have dealt with this in the past. Good luck.

It depends! Many hotels have a 4pm local time courtesy hold.

You may need to guarantee it your stay with a credit card. This hold it for late arrival if you will not get there until 6 pm. This is best if you know you are going to stay there!

You can call the hotel or the hotel chain to make sure! 1-800-HILTONS

Good Luck!
