Luk 1:28 The angel came to her and said, "Peace be with you! The Lord is with you and has greatly blessed you!"
Luk 1:29 Mary was deeply troubled by the angel's message, and she wondered what his words meant.
Luk 1:30 The angel said to her, "Don't be afraid, Mary; God has been gracious to you.
Luk 1:31 You will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus.
Luk 1:32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High God. The Lord God will make him a king, as his ancestor David was,
Luk 1:33 and he will be the king of the descendants of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end!"
The key to understanding Mary's position in the whole scheme of things is right here, in Luke 1:32-33.
Mary is the mother of Jesus, the eternal king of the royal house of david.
Under the traditions of that royal house, the mother of king is the queen ... and the official job of the queen is to intercede with the king, for the people.
This is made clear in the old testament:
1Ki 2:13 Then Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith, went to Bathsheba, who was Solomon's mother. "Is this a friendly visit?" she asked. "It is," he answered,
1Ki 2:14 and then he added, "I have something to ask of you." "What is it?" she asked.
1Ki 2:15 He answered, "You know that I should have become king and that everyone in Israel expected it. But it happened differently, and my brother became king because it was the LORD's will.
1Ki 2:16 And now I have one request to make; please do not refuse me." "What is it?" Bathsheba asked.
1Ki 2:17 He answered, "Please ask King Solomon---I know he won't refuse you---to let me have Abishag, the young woman from Shunem, as my wife."
1Ki 2:18 "Very well," she answered. "I will speak to the king for you."
1Ki 2:19 So Bathsheba went to the king to speak to him on behalf of Adonijah. The king stood up to greet his mother and bowed to her. Then he sat on his throne and had another one brought in on which she sat at his right.
1Ki 2:20 She said, "I have a small favor to ask of you; please do not refuse me." "What is it, mother?" he asked. "I will not refuse you."
This is why we Catholics as well as ALL the early protestants understood that Mary is both an official intercessor for us, as well as the one who COOPERATED with Christ in his work of redemption, FIRST, by contributing her own flesh to him, THEN by remaining his first, best, and most constant disciple, and NOW, by acting in her official capacity as the queen of the royal house of David and the Queen of Heaven, seated at the right hand of her divine son Jesus, who remains the ONE mediator between God the Father and man.
So Mary is indeed our CoRedemptrix ... according to God's grace ... and this in no way detracts from the worship and praise we give to God alone.

Mary was not sinless. If you read the Bible, then you would see that she had to offer sacrifices for her sins just like everyone else did. The simply says that she found favour with God (Luke 1:30). Also, according to the Bible (2 Kings 13:20), Elisha died & was buried. Mary is not the one we pray to. Jesus Christ is our intercessor (Romans 8:34).
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Because a derelict monk named Martin Luther decided that there were things about Catholicism he didn't like. So he came up with his 95 Theses and nailed them to the door of a Catholic Church. He broke away from the Catholic Church and formed the Protestant branch of Christianity. Protestants believe that there is no need to pray to the Mother of God because they see her as only human and not holy as Catholics do.

The original Christians were NOT Roman Catholics, the original Christians were followers of Christ, known as the twelve disciples. Mary was not without sin, you believe this because the Catholic Church tell you too, not because the Bible says it is so. I am a Protestant and do not pray to Mary because that would be the same as praying to anyone else that walked the face of the earth and it is against the Christian faith to pray to false idols. Why should I pray to someone that is nothing more than I, human, when I can pray to God Himself and go directly to Him? My question to you is, who do you worship, Jesus Christ who is God incarnate or Mary, who was simply a willing servant of God? Why not worship Peter or Paul or John as well, they too were willing servants of God, or Mary Magdelene?

How dare you equate Mary as co-redemptrix. She is a
sinner and needed a Savior. She is not the Mother of
God, she is the mother of Christ humanity. It is idolatry to worship Mary as you do. I know I was once
a Catholic and now a Bible believing Christian. You
may be Christian but you are walking on thin ice and
will suffer loss at the Bema Seat and lose rewards. Start to read your Bible and quit listening to man-made
church dogma. She was married was a virgin with Christ the sinless God/Man. Then she had a least 5 more children. She calls Jesus her Lord and Savior.
She was a sinner and needed a Savior like every person on this earth. He is God and died for all men.

1- The Original Christians were Jewish.
2- 'Cause the practice to bow down before the Mary's statute is prohibited by God.
3- Jesus said:
John 14:13 – And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.
John 14:14 - You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
John 15:16 – You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.
John 16:23 – In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.
John 16:24 – Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.
John 16:26 – In that day you will ask in my name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf

The original Christians were not Roman Catholics.
Protestants by no means believe that Mary was just like the men you mention.
Protestants pray directly to God/Jesus without an intermediary. Not Mary, not St. Paul, not St. Francis.
Practice your own religion faithfully but leave other people alone. God can judge us, you don't need to.

The original Christians were the Jewish apostles and they would have been horrified at the very idea of offering prayers to Jesus mother....
Yes Mary was chosen by God.....she was not born without sin that is false theology and not supported by the Bible...
Mary is not a co-redeptrix, no one can pray to her and ask her to do a favor by taking prayers to her son....
that is not supported by the Bible...
Mary was a nice Jewish girl who raised a family with a nice Jewish man named Joesph...
Joesph passed away and Mary was a widow...a nice Jewish grandmother who is asleep until the day of judgment with everyone else....she died like everyone else....
It is a shame that such a non Biblical concept is still around.....

The original church begun on the day of Pentecost, 50 days after the Resurrection of Christ. As far as asking Mary for anything, why should I when I can go bravely to the thrown of God. Mary was a great women of God, she was given a great responsibility as were all of Gods people, she was flesh just like you and I. I so respect her and all the others great people of the bible, but I will not worship her, pray to her nor bow to her. The Bible says we are to pray "Our Father who art in heaven"

OOOH MY!!! You need to read some History books. The original Christians were Jewish converts. It took the Romans 300 years before they adapted Christianity after Jesus left this earth. For the first 275-300 years of early Christianity the Romans tortured and killed Christians because their beliefs was against the Roman Law.
