I was in Luxembourg a couple years ago and the population was around 480,000. Luxembourg city had approx 75,000 people.

If you or your friend ever get the chance, visit Luxembourg! It's one of the most beautiful counties I have ever been to!

In July of 2000, the population of Luxembourg was estimated to be 437,389. That should have been the last census.

the 2007 population was just shy of 500,000 of which 87% are natives who are a mixture of French and German the other 13% are immigrants many of which are illegal.
