Lime i knew they would be a contender last year, they had too much talent...i didnt say flames fans, i said flames "fan" im not putting down the fans of Calgary, just one guy who said my team would finish dead last this year and just pointing out to him that his team is dead last is all, doesnt mean it will finish this way.

They seem to think Iggy's a lot better than he is. Needed to sign Kipper to stay solid for years to come. time will tell. My predictions last two holes in the playoffs exit first round in 5 games

It's a bit early in the season don't you think? We are only one week in. The Flames will make the needed adjustments and will have a strong finish. As another poster said, Calgary doesn't do well in the early part of the season. I look for them to hit their stride in late November.

The last three season total victories for Clagary in October, I believe is about 7. Slow starts do not seem to affect their final position too often. It might be in your best interest to hold off on the bravado for a little bit.
Just a thought.

Yeah I agree that its a little early for a prediction so lets wait a little while before we confirm the fact that they are over-rated and that Keenan is going to grind this team into the dirt.

I'd day Anaheim is in a worse position. They have only one more point with 3 more games played than Calgary.

Isn't it early for that talk? If you saw how bad Ottawa did for the first couple of months, last year no one would predict that they'd be in the SC finals.

This sounds like someone is premature, perhaps you have a thing about being premature?
