Gifts left behind, cards, letters, pictures, clothes, nothing super expensive. Any Ideas? Should I sell what I can? Should I give her notice? It's been 1 1/2 years since she left. Besides she cheated on me and then married the guy. THANK GOD!!!

To legally dispose of something requires different thing in different states. Some states require that you show proof that you attempted to return the stuff, others do not. However, most likely after 1 1/2 years you can probably convince a judge that the property was abandoned, therefor you have the right to dispose of it. Check with your local small claims court clerk. If dispose of, or sell, someone else property and you don't follow the law, you can be force to pay for that stuff.
As for if you should sell it, sure why not, if you can.

You could me a gentleman about it all, pack it all in a box and try to make an arrangement to get it to her. If she says hold onto to it, tell her that it is not an option, that you will toss it if she doesn't pick it up within 3 days. If she tries to put it off tell her it's not an option.
That way there will be no surprises....and you can always say you did what would be considered the proper thing to do, whereas she was the total piece of junk and always be that...

LEGALLY, if you toss the belongings or do anything with them you can be held liable for their value.
Look up the term 'BAILMENT'
You are REQUIRED by law (in the U.S.) to notify her that you have the things and you are requiring her to come dispose of them.
An example letter is below:
Dear [her],
I continue to be in possession of items belonging to you including [a list here].
I have held on to these items for more than a year and feel it is time you either reclaimed them or disposed of them so that I am no longer responsible for their value.
To this end, I demand that you notify me within 5 working days from receipt of this letter with your intentions regarding the matter. If I do not hear from you in the time allotted or you do not retrieve the items within 14 calendar days from receipt of this letter, I will take your inaction as permission to dispose of the items as I see fit.
Sincerely,
[you]

She's had plenty of time to collect them. Throw away the personal stuff like letters and photos, the rest (clothes, etc) give to charity.

She obviously isnt worried about it since its been a year and a half. I'd say sell what you can. It's in your home and she cheated on you anyway. You deserve a little something.

Trash what can't be donated to charity.
Some one could benefit from her stuff and you can get a tax write off.
