Does it heave a meaning, a purpose, what is it and why keep it?

I am supposed to start at Regency Beauty Institute tomorrow, and I need a copy of my Diploma and I can't find it ANYWHERE. I don't know how long it will take my old High School to get me a copy either, but I am sure they can't do it. I have my college transcripts, and a certified letter of enrollment from the U of M from last year, but I don't know if any of that will do. Do any of you have any advice, experience or ideas??? Please help, I am starting to freak out. I really want to be able to start school tomorrow :(!!!

I just brought a kitten into my home where there are two adult cats. One has received him well, but the other one doesn't like him. Will they eventually get along, or should I send the kitten back to the shelter from which he came from. The kitten is young and cute and cuddly and would definitely be adopted, but I did not expect one of our adopted cats to be so pissed off by his presence.

I do give affection to the cat who does not like the kitten, but I am wondering if he will come around and eventually like the kitten.

What is your opinion on what I should do? I Would not have to give the kitten back to the shelter, but at the same time, I would not want one of my existing cats to be uncomfortable with the new kitten. I would appreciate any experiences that you may have.

Has anyone made a sheet of brownies and then used cookie cutters to make cute brownies? How did it work out. Did it cut nice and neat? I got a nice heart shaped cookie cutter at a fair this weekend and can't wait to try it when I next make brownies. I don't make that many cookies but thought it would be cute for brownies. Have you tried anything like this? The cookie cutter is thick enough to go through a brownie which is something I was thinking about. It is isn't real thin or anything. I would make sheet of brownies and then just cut. Think it will work?

My husband left us when i was 7 months pregnant. when she turned 6 months old i lost my job and now i have lost all my friends. i cant get a boyfriend and finding a job is seems impossible. dont get me wrong i WOULDN'T trade her for anything but why is it your life turns to sh*t after a baby arrives?

Couselling or talking to someone for support just doesn't work for me. I just rehash the same thing over and over. I don't feel relief. Instead, I need to constantly hear kind words from people like I re-read my messages from others of kind words of support a dozen times. I'm already on meds for anxiety/depression but none haved worked bc I cry everyday. I can't make myself functional. I am in jeopardy of failing my courses bc of this and the only advice from the only dr that I trust, advises to take a medical leave. We both agree that I am not getting better despite the meds we tried and I have difficulty trusting people. Once somebody is rude to me/or terrorizes me like the police for accuses me of being suicidal, I can't forget it. I'm scared to get a part-time job bc I got fired the last two times due to my anxiety/depression and lack of confidence. I always need to hear reassuring kind words from people but that doesn't make me functional where I can study.

Below is the reading of my eye vision problem.
BC 8.5, SPH -1.25, CYL -2.25, AX 170 for right eye
BC 8.5, SPH -5.25, CYL -2.25, AX 180 for left eye

These are not the up-to-date reading. I have just realised that my astigmatism has increased again in both eyes as i know it is a dot of light but i see it as a "star", when i squint my eye i can see the light is not 'star' but a dot. My eyes are pain sometimes and i am very sensitive to light, even watching the tv sometimes make me feel that my eyes are exposed to very bright light. I can sometimes see small floaters mostly below my eyes.

I am wearing bausch& lomb soft contact lenses with the prescription above. I am facing the computer everyday. I am worried that my eyesight will get worsen in future. Is there anyway to prevent further increase/worsening of the problem?

I used to cry a lot during my teenage because of my depression. I wonder if that had impaired my eyesight too?

so my step dad just got mad and was beating my dog really bad. i plugged my ears and was screaming.. (i noe im childish.. im 15) my mom stood up and was screaming at him.. ( my mom is crippled and can barely walk) and he was yelling back. the whole time the dog was squealing... && i.m getting even more scared... then he stood up and swung on my mom. this turned my fear into pure rage because i.ve seen my real dad beat my mom too many times. my mom didnt back down. she was still in his face telling him to leave the dog alone. he was pushin her and i jumped in the middle so he started pushing me. i called the cops but my mom started yelling at me so i hung up. he started throwing our coach and stuff outside. my little sister (7) woke up and was hiding in the b/r. he finally stopped when the cops came and my mom made me not tell the whole story. she said it was just an argument and i took it over by calling the cops. am i wrong for not telling the whole story? how can i stop this???

All the research I have done in the Bible says Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mothers milk. Deut. 14:21 Seethe=boil kid=goat I looked up the literal meaning to these words so I know they are correct. I have been told by a Jewish person this is why they do not eat meat with cheese. I do not understand where they get that from. They will not eat a cheeseburger or eat any kind of meat prepared next to cheese. Please help me better understand why they may belive this. Do they believe this because of a different verse or are they changing the meaning of of this verse???

I'm staying at my friend's and I NEED to take a .docx document (its Microsoft Word 2007) and open it and save it as a .doc..I had it in my email and saved it to this computer but it won't open on this computer (Windows 2000). It can only open on Microsoft Word 2007 edition...so I downloaded a trial of the Word 2007 but it won't open and info popped up saying this Windows is too old for Word 2007....arg help!
