I am supposed to start at Regency Beauty Institute tomorrow, and I need a copy of my Diploma and I can't find it ANYWHERE. I don't know how long it will take my old High School to get me a copy either, but I am sure they can't do it. I have my college transcripts, and a certified letter of enrollment from the U of M from last year, but I don't know if any of that will do. Do any of you have any advice, experience or ideas??? Please help, I am starting to freak out. I really want to be able to start school tomorrow :(!!!

It should be the transcripts and not the diploma that they want to see. The transcript is proof of your diploma, the diploma is just a decoration for your needs.

Usually, if you have college transcripts, nobody cares about the high school diploma.

You are definitely not the only person to misplace a diploma and if your HS is still operating then they can easily tell you how to get a replacement. Just call the principal or guidance office. If you don't have a transcript from HS, they can normally print you a copy while you wait for it. Give them a call.

No sweat - just reorder it from your school. I had the same thing happen to me and I simply called up there and told them what had happened. They have to deal with this all the time so it shouldn't be a problem.

your transcripts should show you graduated from high school.
take them with you. you are not the first person to misplace their high school diploma.

Perhaps your class teacher could vouch for your completion if they still remember you.
