Don't miss his appearance in the Beast of Yucca Flatts, this is by far the worst movie of all time. It out stinks Plan 9 From Outer Space. Trust me, check him out as the beast and get ready for some good hard laughing. This is the biggest stinker of all time!

...well, of course, the two favorite films, featuring the late Tor Johnson, are the two that he did for schlock director/producer, Ed Wood, Jr., and they are "Plan 9 from Outer Space" and "The Bride of the Monster"...
...I remember the classic scene in "Bride...", where the mad doctor in the film, played by Bela Lugosi, ties down onto a table, the hero of the film, straps a salad strainer to his head, and has his assistant, Lobo (...that was Tor!!!), roll over a apparent deadly microphone boom...
...in "Plan 9...",Tor was pretty much relegated to three or four word sentences...that is, until he became one of the alien-controlled living dead, lost his ability to speak, and donned a really strange lightning bolt shaped crack on his bald head...
...I often thought that if someone could actually scribble up some semblance of biography of Tor's life, including his early, pre-movie-star wrestling days, and then find the ideal actor to play Tor, it would be the equally menacing-looking actor, Lawrence Tierney; unfortunately, we have lost that great actor, too...

Tor was also in "The Black Sleep" and "The Lemon Drop Kid" starring Bob Hope.

I haven't seen any of his actual movies, but you should check out Ed Wood. His character is in it and it shows how Ed Wood took him from professional wrestling to star in his b-movies.
