My younger brother was married last year. Not too long ago my siblings and I threw a party for our parents' anniversary. An oversight on our part we forgot to invite his mother in law. Now they are upset with us for not inviting her. Are we obliged to invite her to family celebrations? If I decided to throw a birthday party for my dad for example do I have to invite her? I know it would be a nice thing to do but is it obligatory?

friends for years and he's secretly liked me but he never went for it b/c he thought the chances of being w. me were slim only to find out that after all this time, I felt the same way back - I was the first girl he fell in love with BUT "life challenges" (death) and rumors/assumptions from friends made you us drift apart and it created tension BUT rather than giving up or seeking revenge, we worked it out and everything is starting to be better than before, the relationship grew (this happened in a 9 month span)

We're in the process of being close friends again...In the beginning when we first met, we "clicked' right away and could be able to talk to each other about anything and everything. We would always see each other in and out of classes, have lunch, and talk to each other almost every night. That was 3 years ago and obviously, THINGS change, PEOPLE change, and we change but it's not that we're growing apart - we're just growing up while adjusting to all this change...
It's different and i get scared that we'll lose our "closeness" but someone told me, "true things are never lost..." CAN WE STILL DO OUR OWN THING AND BE CLOSE? We used to talk all the time and now we don't call each other; not sure if it's a "guy thing" where they stop talking on the phone, we're both busy, or he's changed alot from the his friend's death...i'm sorry i'm just venting - THOUGHTS? I'd really appreciate it! THANKS

Are they just lucky? Who is going to beat them? They haven't had to even try yet. So far this is the closest have they've had, with a 21 point victory. The others have been by 24, 24, and 31 points.

Drink a whole cup of mud, or wear the same outfit for the rest of your life? And you would have to drink the whole cup. and also could not wash the outfit.

I am aware of AGW skeptics losing their jobs because of their position on AGW. I am not aware of any AGW activists losing their jobs.

How about a list of names of those who lost their jobs and their AGW leanings.

We're all middle-aged, slightly overweight white guys who like football and naps in the afternoon. Given the right amount of alcohol, we can be a heck of a lot of fun and we cook a mean steak.

Don't be shy - I can take a little name calling!

I hear everyone saying that we have to fight the terrorists but who are they talking about? GHosts? Iraqi's who want their country back? Taliban? Al Qaida? WHo are those folks? Why are we having to fight them? How can we win? How will we know when we have won if we don't even know who or why we are fighting?

He went to the doctor today and they ran tests, so we're waiting on the results, but I want to know what to expect. Does anyone know this could be?

I notice that opera singers hardly ever use microphones during singing/performing on stage yet u can still hear their voice until the back row.

How can they achieve so much power & volume in their voice? How can they sing so loud without cracking/damaging their voice? I mean WOW that's so amazing! Wish I can do that too! Everytime I try to raise my voice I usually end up with a hoarseness & sore throat LOL
