Blood in urine can mean many things, often they are not good. I don't mean to worry you as it could be nothing. Remember to stay positive and hope for the best :)
Has he ever had any kidney troubles?? Are his testicles swollen or lumpy? Does he have any pain while urinating? These are things to check for and mention to the doctor.
He may just have a bladder infection which is rather easily treated if caught early. Any changes in symptoms or if he gets worse, get to the ER.
Good Luck!
p.s Bloody noses are actually quite normal in children but if they are constantly happening you should look for treatment options.
Keep us posted when you find out what it is :)

No matter what, stay as calm as possible. You won't know anything for sure until the results come back so a bunch of amateurs giving you maybes won't be good!
Bloody noses that are a problem can be fixed with cauterizing the vessels that bleed so easily. And blood in the urine could be a simple urinary tract infection treated with antibiotics. Don't worry until you are handed a reason to worry! I hope you can come back and tell us how he is doing!

Well, the bloody nose my child gets, too...all the time!
I read up about it in a health book & what he said was this:
When the nose is very congested (due to either a cold OR allergies...my daughter is allergies) it will bleed. Also, the dr said she just had large blood vessels in her nose. (They wanted to go up in there & shut some of them off with a small touch of silver nitrate.)
I can't answer about the blood in the urine...maybe a slight infection? I don't know about that. Just the other. Good luck!

It's highly unlikely there is any relation between the two things. Many boys have serious nosebleeds when they're growing up but it;s always a good idea to have it checked out. Blood in the urine is likely a UTI but should also be checked in one so young. Hold off getting too upset until you find out more. He can tell others are upset and you don't want to freak him out.

Blood in urine is really bad. It's not like blood in fecal matter which can come from bleeding hemroids. Good luck with your kid :)

OMG, I'm glad he's been seen by the doctor. This could be anything from a kidney infection to (I hate to say it) possible abuse? (I mean no disrespect!!)
My son used to have nosebleeds every few days when he was younger (he's now 10) - we had to have his sinus cauterized because he had a thin sinus membrane and every time he'd even SNEEZE, he'd have another nosebleed! It was awful. :(
My best to you and your family! :)

Just a guess.
