There is someone who says he is my 'friend' but I can't tell.

I have a person in my life like that. When she's drunk, she calls me and says she loves me and I am like her sister. When she's sober she rarely calls and only has enough time to talk about herself. I just ignore the phone calls now. No time for that BS.

Is he an online friend or someone around you? Some people just like to fake being popular by saying "yeah that's my friend" about everybody but really don't know a dam thing about you.
I use to be a member of this website where you can add people to your friends list(like most websites) and this one guy added me to his friend list but would never talk to me. And he said hello to me first. I said hello back and that was the end of that. When I looked at his page...my picture was among several other women's pictures. It was like he was just wanted to add people to make himself look like a playboy. If its someone around you then maybe they are just too busy to take the time to talk to you. In other words...you may not be that important.

If it's me it's because I felt that I was the last person you've added to your contacts and when I tried to email to say hi you're acct was no longer available. So all this time I felt bad that maybe one of my previous contacts used me to get to you. It's not that I don't want to email you or talk to you, I just don't want this to happen again, especially to you. I really enjoyed answering your questions, your questions regarding relationships where sincere, true and deep, questions that I can relate to since I've been there before. All I can say is that I'm sorry.

Sometimes life is just busy. Also people have anxiety. I have a friend that I love very much except when I do talk to her she never lets me off the phone. It makes me not get the phone or call her as much as I would if it wasn't like that. Also, she talks about the same thing endlessly. I'm not saying that this is your problem, just one I've had. Really though with a lot of friends I have I just don't have the time I'd like to talk to them.

That isnt the way a friend acts. They sound more like an acquaintance than anything else. I hope you have other people to talk to, or you will be lonely.

Because his opinion of Friend is different than yours... Some just seem to keep others around for just in case... I dunno if he does, but I would feel kind of uncomfortable too... Why have someone around you never talk to?
I wouldn't either....

becuz she's a ***** who claims to be my best friend but hasnt called me in 4 months but calls our mutual friend all the time saying how much she misses her. UGH i hate her so much right now

cause they just want you to think that you and him are friends and in reality he is just using you for something as gain for him and that is all he wants it for. and he is probably lying to his friends and says he talks to you everyday or something.
