I'm hoping for the momentum. Hasn't been much to cheer about as a Rockies fan for some time now...

Not that I mind since both of those two teams are the top five teams in the NFL the past few years, but why do they play each other every year? I know if they are in the same confence they play two game a year, one game at home and one game away. I assume AFC teams play antoehr AFC team more offen right? But anyone got the correct answer?

I was taught at school that this means: turn so the enemy can hit you again, for he will be judged.

I also saw heard someone say that how turning the other cheek meant something different in Middle-Eastern culture. I think it was showing your enemy your superiority to them, for they have sinned and you have not.

Please tell me the real definition of turning the other cheek.

I have been on and off diets for the past few years. When I'm not dieting, I don't think about food very much, and I just eat whatever I want whenever I am hungry. However, when I AM dieting, I think about food all day long... its like it over powers my mind. I start thinking about healthy food that I can eat, and then I start thinking about things like milkshakes and french fries and I get frustrated with the diet a few days later and go on a huge splurge, eating everything in sight until I feel extremely bloated. I don't understand why this happens. Does this happen to anyone else? With this in mind, what can I do to lose weight affectively? I have tried every "diet" out there... Can't do Atkins 'cuz after day 3 I feel like crap. What can I do???

A male patient is lying in bed in the hospital with an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose and still heavily sedated from a 4-hour operation.

A young nurse appears in his room to sponge his hands and feet. "Nurse," he mumbles from behind the mask, "Are my testicles black?"

Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, "I don't know, I'm only here to wash your hands and feet."

He struggles again to ask, "Nurse, are my testicles black?"

Finally, she pulls back the covers, raises his gown, holds his penis in one hand and his testicles in the other hand, takes a close look and says, "There's nothing wrong with them!"

maybe he wanted to nail his son on a cross? Here is a God who can do all things, can he not make us perfect to get in to heaven, why? maybe he is not strong enought to make us holy and righteous as him? Maybe you do not pray for his perfection in rigthessness ?do you think God is to weak to make someone like him? or did he want to put Jesus on a cross? murder maybe?
maybe he lied to us and really hates his son? here is the great seeker for 6 yrs praying all the time for holiness and perfection in his heart, and the christians most all say he desired his son on a cross and no one can become perfect....maybe you do not ask? In time we will see? whos right the christians who say God can not do all things and crusified his son for us, or the great seeker who says God sacraficed his son because the Christians never found the way to holiness to get into heaven. But look for someone to die for them.

I have been cursed since birth. My biological mother was 11 yrs old when I was born and I was given up for adoption. I was raised in a family that was very intelligent but very abusive. I was raised in a all white town in Wi and being mixed it was impossible to make it, but I did. My life has been nothing but let downs and nothingless. The last 2 yrs I have lost my home, business, friends, family all due to the curse and severe depression. I can fight it with meds somedays but not now. I believe God has forsaken me at birth because there is so more to tell. I'm literally almost pennyless, jobless, and alone and suicidal.No one wants to help when I try to reach out. Being dead sounds so good some days but that is no the ultimate answer, so I hurt myself a lot and it the thoughts go away sometimes. I pray and ask God for help and I get nothing everytime.There is no answer except pain and suffering. there is no use for me in this life. I want to go away and be alone and succumb to it.

I am a 19 year old straight guy, I will be 20 in 25 days, I was talking to a girl yesterday, and the conversation led to sex. She asked me when the last time I had sex was and I told her 1 year and 11 months ago.

She got so freaked out. She didn't believe me. I didn't understand. So, I asked other people why this is so weird, but no one would give me an answer, they would just say "It's just weird."

No one knows this, but I've only had sex with one girl, and she broke my heart, really bad, and I just haven't been interested in sex all that much since she broke my heart. I've had plenty of opportunities, but I just didn't take them.

Why is this weird that the last time I had sex was almost 2 years ago?

My husband went down to the recruiter today and was told he could not join until the tattoo's on the side of his neck were removed. So...I was researching some things that would get rid of the tat's besides laser surgery and I found an acid that works as a peel to get rid of it. Before we begin this process we really want to be sure that he can join with flat feet and a GED. I have heard so many different storys, some say yes and others say no. He does have 8 college credits so far and will have 16 by January, but when they say 15 college credits plus GED equals Tier 1 is that for certain college credits or any classes. Then there is the flat feet issue. He can run fast and is on his feet all day everyday, he works for the garbage company. He has never had any problems with his feet or knees and there is no pain what so ever in his feet. I would appreciate any help that someone can give me, but those with experience in the army is what I am looking for a response from. Thank you. :)

I was wondering. I took this thing that gives you the weight you should be at with your height. I am 5 foot 8 inches (as said in prev discussion) and it says I should be at like 143 pounds to be heathy and fit. However, like I said I am also very stocky with alot of upper body mass. I don't think with my natural size I will be able to accomplish to get down to 143 pounds. My grandpa, uncles and dad are very big (fat+muscle) and the rest are near the average height/weight (got 5 bros and 3 sisters) Doesent all depend on your body structure? 143 for me seems rediciolous (however you spell it)
