How are people so sure that they're religion is the only TRUE religion?

Whether your Christian, Catholic, Muslim, etc....What are the explanations from some religious groups, in answering why they think that their religion is the only correct one?

I was a christian at one point of my life but, that's because I was raised as one. As I've gotten older, I've gotten off the wagon of organized religion.

I believe that there is a higher power or some type of governing hand-maybe it's because I have to, I'm not sure. I'm a good person and don't live my life perfectly-it's impossible...but, I live it the best that I can and try to learn from my mistakes.

I'd like to get some answers to my question above and would like to read your thoughts and opinions on religion-in any way.

So I have, well, had two cats...down to only one now. We thought when the other had to be put down the fleas would go away since he was always covered in them from being in the basement so much. Well we still have them...they're under control but I want them gone for good! This is about the 5th flea battle I've had in the past 3 years...we went a whole year without fleas and then my ex-stepmom dragged some in while I was in Texas. We've bought carpet poweders, carpet sprays, we've flea bombed honestly about 30 times now, I've tried every shampoo on her, every kind of drop out there, and the list goes on. I brush her everyday and don't find many eggs and only a few adult fleas. They seem to be under control alright, but we are moving at the end of the month. I'm so afraid of dragging fleas into our new home with us! It just seems like everything we've used just doesn't work and have even thought about shaving her...IDK...I'm stumped.

I was taken by CPS & then adopted. My files were sealed & now that I am an adult I want to find my birth family & show them there Grandaughter & find out about my families medical history.

Clearly Holliday was out and clearly the ump was waiting for the play to be complete before making the call.
I think the ump saw the Rockies pouring onto the field and said "Oh, what the hell, hes safe. Lets go home."

1. How was the consitution a product of its time? (Prior)

2. Compare/contrast the Articles of confederation and the constitution, as a defender of the federalist position.

3. The revolution of 1770s and the 'revolution'' of 1787 were both caused by economic conditions. What were the different conditions? How did one document attempt to rectify these problems.

I tried two different wines yesterday for the first time in my life. One was Sutter Home Chardonay and the other was Sutter Home White Zin. I couldn't really taste a difference in them... they both tasted like I had just licked the floor! My husband told me that Boone's Farm wine is nasty, but a friend of mine says it tastes really good. Does Boones Farm taste like you just licked the floor? What about Arbor Mist? Does all wine taste disgusting???

in a market where the actor gets 'scale plus 10%', how do you figure out how much to pay the agent? do you pay 10% of scale? do you pay the agent 10% on overtime?? what about other added monies like food/wardrobe, are you to pay the agent a percentage of this? Please if you know the answer, please site a source i can refer to thanks so much for your help! (i looked at the sag site and reviewed a sag contract, but could not find an answer to this specific question)

I had a brief period of unemployment and re-hired at new job where they are processing the court ordered amount. I wondered if anyone knew, in state of Nebraska, if the payee, has the right to know my new place of employment. the Child Support NE websites cater to the recipients of child support and payors are treated like criminals. I can't get straight answers from website or state officials. they want you to call during business hours, a specific case worker, who doesn't even know the FAQ's on their own website. I've told written the child support staff I can't call to discuss during busines hours as new job means training and very little privacy for such personal matters. But they answer every emails with the same auto reply "you need to call blah, blah, blah" and when I can even call, my case worker is out, and they want me to call back when convenient for THEM. It's all very demeaning and nearly impossible for a payor of child support (and diligent payor) to get respect.

I know this guy and i like him. So i told him how i felt.. i expressed myself in any way possible but the problem is i did it annonymously..online. He doesn't know who I am. He is fine with that.. because i said i could understand if he didnt want to speak to a stranger... and he was the total opposite of that.. he actually likes the fact he doesnt kno who i am. and he getting to know my personality.........he still wants to be my friend........ we talk everyday..... about anything and everything..... and we became friends.. he told me too many personal things and i get he trust me because i could easily use that against him.. something i wouldnt do.. im gunna tell him who i am.... but i think im in it too deep.. the fact we been talkin like dis for over a month... and i dont know does the person he thinks i am matches with me... im so scared that my heart will be broken if he doesnt want to be friends afterwards.. im 19 by the way a little bit too old for this.. but what should i d0?
