i always look on the bright side. there's a bright side to every situation, no matter what it is. and when i cant find the bright side, i have a cigarette. then i relax enough to think of the bright side of things. however, i feel guilty and wonder if i will ever get cancer. now it's back to being pessimistic. oh no =[

Because life has taught me otherwise.
I've felt abandoned, unloved, unwanted, lonely, hopeless, direction-less, depressed and suicidal.
I've also run into people who were selfish, self-absorbed, hateful, bigoted, childish, rude and inconsiderate.
That's enough to make ANYONE look on the darker side of life!!

sorry, I always look at the negative side & think of the absolute worst thing that could happen...this way when bad things happen they're not as bad as I thought they would be.
