Im a huge Chargers fan, But it seems to me that Phillip Rivers is not the right "leader" to take the bolts to the next level (refer to last years seanson ending game).

He's terrible and overrated.. Funny when Turner called plays in Dallas, Aikman won a superbowl, actually 2.
I believe Al Davis has turned his team into what it is today.

Rivers does look worse this season. Don't know if that has to do with himself or the coaches. I liked on sunday night they said the worst person in the nfl is aj smith and alex spanos, the Chargers owner and GM. They are why Marty was fired and Donnie Edwards left. Im a charger fan, but i wouldn't mind if they only win 3 games this year. They would look even worse.

How many times do I have to say this?! Is Norv Turner!!!! He turned my Raiders from a superbowl team to a team that haven't had a winning season since!!! Doesn't matter who the QB is or how much weapons are there on the team!! He will jsut mess it all up! I feel bad for all the Chargers fan for having him as the head coach -_-, but guess what better you then me

I wouldn't call him terrible, that's a bit harsh. Rex Grossman is terrible. Tarvaris Jackson is terrible. Phillip Rivers isn't in that company.

he missed passes to LT. one of them LT was open and the bolts were down 7 Pt's.
i don't understand it but it seems to me that there are much more problems in that team that we don't know about.
good luck bolts. i hate the AFC with only new England and Indy leading.
i am waiting for the raven, steelers , broncos and the bolt to do some damage

It is not just Rivers. Tomlinson is having a mediocre year and when your main weapon is not working, what difference can the coach make. As for Marty, you forget he was the Patriots secret weapon in the playoff game last year.

The whole team is terrible. Norv Turner is terrible. And upper management is stupid. Marty should have never been fired.

as a giants fan I LOVE IT...shows that giants did not make a mistake by trading rivers and draft picks for eli..eli is showing what he is all about, and so is rivers...but eli is doing it without LT behind him..if he had LT..he would be unstoppable
