Christian God - first commandment states -" Have no other gods Before me."

Does this mean you can worship a pantheon of gods, as long as the Christian god is placed first, and in highest regards?

How do you interpret this commandment in any other way?

The bible, does not as far as I can find Condem Witchcraft or sorcery. It does tell the faithful to avoid those who use it, and to be wary of it. But as far as I am able to find does not specifically declare it a sin.

Could the case then be made that Saints, / holy people in the bible used "witchcraft" and sorcery to do the "miracles" they have atributed to them?

What is the back story on the demon known as Legion? I know that the demon possesed someone and was drivien out, but where did it come from. Where did Demons come from, as the bible is rather specific that Fallen Angels are not Demons, other than Lucifer somewhat becoming satan.

i recently asked a question why do we pay taxes to the police when they are supposed to protect and serve the citizens.they seem to be more concern about writing tickets, and i said they are not doing there jobs, but in realality they are it is not there fault.it is the mayor,or who ever is in charge of them, because they are given a qouta to write so many tickets. i know this because i have some police officer friends who told us this, me and my dad.im not writing this because i recently got a ticket,i have not had one in a long time.the reason is because i care about there being so much crime, and nothing is being done.i feel like the police officers need more freedom to patrol more in the neighborhoods,or the streets so that criminals will not easily commit crimes.knowing that police are more patroling, and they may not do any thing, just there presence more known would help.robbery seems to be the highest crime, people losing there lives because of this is just not right.

I want to know if you were, for example, drinking from a glass and just kept drinking and drinking... is it dangerous for your body? Is it possible to somehow drown from this? (I don't mean by shoving your head in a bucket of water!).

For over 10 years I have been watching the Los Angeles evening news on KLTA with Hal Fishman. Regrettably he died some weeks ago. I miss him a lot. Any clues if KLTA is trying to find us a similar anchor (old, experienced, Anglo, charismatic)? Have you noticed there is no more commentaries with Leila Feinstein? Do you miss Hal too?

...for example; comparing Led Zeppelin to The Beatles? Come on...how redundant is that? The Beatles were a 60's band, while Led Zeppelin was a 70's band! Just as the heavy rock scene was coming to fruition, Led Zeppelin was just beginning to make a name for themselves. At the same time The Beatles were getting ready to call it a day!
Two bands, from two entirely different decades. Their careers overlapped for what, a year and half?
Perhaps many younger people aren't really aware how much different 1965 was compared to 1975. Maybe they think "oh, a decade is a decade"? I guess if you compare 1995 with 2005, there wasn't a whole lot of change as far as music goes. Surely not on the same scale as between '65 and '75!
The only people that understand this are us old farts who were actually around at the time.
If I see another question comparing 'The Beatles' to 'Led Zeppelin', I think I'll shoot myself.
What's next; "Who was better, and had more diversity, Buddy Holly or Deep Purple"?

If an office holder from one organisation is an ex officio office holder in another, how does one describe the relaitonship that it creates between the two organisations?

The president of an organisation is the ex officio 1st VP of mine, and I'm trying to find a way to explain the relationship to the others from that other group. What's the best way to describe what the crafters of my constitution were trying to say?

You know what I mean. That specific way some gay men talk. And don't try to tell me they don't. They do. I went camping at Fifes in Guerneville CA. It was all gay men. Well, like three lesbians. Otherwise... Some of them did talk like that. Too many, I'd say. So did my roommate's friend "Sparkles".

My mother and her boyfriend spoke like that on occasion, calling things "fabulous". Before fifes, I always got mad at them because I found it stereotypey badness. Once I actually heard it en masse, though... it was a bit more difficult.

I find it irritating.

I know this question has been asked before, but I wasn't satisfied with the answers.

Usually, I don't care what people think, but I draw the line when it comes to wearing a speedo, fanny pack, and flip-flop combo in public.

...on second thought, that might be pretty funny. Maybe send it in as an audition for "Guys Gone Wild".
