If you mean screw up and elect Hillary I don't see that happening. By the time the election roles around the country will know Hillary Clinton all to well. Her high negatives will keep Dems home and drive Republicans to the polls. Probably similar electoral outcome as Bush vs Kerry 286-252.

Florida and Michigan have already screwed up the presidential election by refusing to follow the rules of the two parties on the primary process. Hopefully, the votes of those two states will not matter on the convention floors.

As far as the general election, barring a miracle, the general election will not be close enough to be screwed up -- except maybe in a House race. The Republican Party has shot itself in both feet and both legs repeatedly over the past twenty-four months.

I imagine every state wants to vie for the position; and considering there's enough stupidity to go around, it's anyone's guess who'll screw up the simple voting process this time around....
