The Marine Corps is separate from the Army. If you want to join the Marines then you have to go to a Marines recruiting office. Same with the Army. All branches of the military, while they may work together, are separate.

You get into the Marine Corps the same way you get in the Army. You decide to join. There is no special selection for Marines as they are no different than any other men or woman in the Armed Services.

the marines are separate from the army. so you wouldnt join the army and wait to get picked. if you want to join the marines walk into a marine recruiting office and request some info. my friend joined the marines recently.. just make sure that you read your contract and know what youre getting into because if you dont give it a lot of thought it could end up being a bad choice

The Army will hate you for thinking so lowly of them. Naturally, the Marine Corps is a separate entity and they have their own recruiting offices. They are also officially part of the Navy: (see the word Marine in the dictionary).

Go to www.usmc.com or www.usmc.mil and find your nearest Marine Corps recruiter. Or, call 1-800-Marines and they will get a recruiter in touch with you. Pass the mental, moral, and physical qualifications, and then you get to go to Boot Camp for the opportunity to be a Marine. Pass the 13 weeks of Recruit Training, and come out the other side with a new haircut and an Eagle, Globe, and Anchor of your very own.

You have to enlist in the Marine Corps. If you join the Army, then you have enlisted in the Army. They are two separate branches of the armed forces.

i like his answer down there "the uniforms are the best" flags of our fathers replaced right into a large action picture. Realistically it easily relies upon on what you go with to do yet you in addition to would would desire to evaluate what you will desire to do to get there. Marines have a boot camp thats 4 weeks longer than military and military straightforward practise, and that i anticipate is approximately 20 situations harder, so because it somewhat is unquestionably some thing to evaluate whilst asking your self in case you have what it takes to be a Marine. interior the army you will possibly in all probability have a large probability to return and forth the international particularly in case you're engaged on a deliver. each marine ive ever talked to has basically been to japan or afghanistan, and with the memories ive heard afghanistan isn't a reliable place to be. i easily can no longer say something reliable regarding the army different than that the boot camp is shorter. the marine corps is magnificent in case you get into the the terrific option MOS yet once you're a grunt (self-propelled sandbag) you're no longer in reliable shape, yet nevertheless with the flexibility to declare you're a united states of america marine is a long far greater badass than being interior the army or the army, havent heard something undesirable regarding the army different than that military dentists are fantastically tough on marines' tooth. it easily relies upon on what you somewhat need to do in existence, to boot as in case you desire to make a occupation out of it
