Croatian is my first language. I have been learning German for over 10 years. My favourite language is Russian. How did you pick those three???
:)
Seriously though, I loooove Russian. It is such a beautiful language!

And the source for Croatian you gave... You do know that it was the Croatian representative on the 1st Euro vision for kids? And it won! It was quite a hit in Croatia - Dino Jelusic had tons of teenage girls chasing after him :)

You are my one and only... iiiii....

ˇeditˇ: I`ve just checked your profile and you seem to like Dino Jelusic a lot! If you want I can try and get some of his songs and mail them to you? And good luck with your Croatian! If you need any help feel free to mail me:)

Try to have on mind that most of the people here have no idea what Croatian sounds like ;) Maybe you could give some source?

Anyway, I am from Croatia and Croatian is my mother tongue so I know it and I'm thinking about Russian. Don't like German. Brrr!

can't deside. I've studied german in school for couple of years, it's nice. It's the same with russian, but must say it was hard for me to learn it (although my native language is slavic also) and that croatian/serbian or whatever, i can understand very well, since my country was part of ex-yu for years... so, the result would be status quo

Well, Russian is my native language and I like it well enough. So out of German and Croatian, I would probably choose Croatian, since it sounds like a gentler, softer version of Russian. I like German too, but I think it may be a bit hard for me, since English is nowhere near as close to German as Russian is to Croatian.

Russian. I used to know some German when I was little and I would like to relearn it, but I've wanted to learn Russian for a while so I think I'll do that first.

In terms of practicality, Russian is more useful for US citizens planning on a career in an international field to learn, since we've been building a working relationship with the Russia. The military currently lists Russian as one of the "needed" languages.

So for that reason alone, I'd prefer Russian. But honestly, all three of those options sound terrible.

I would choose russian.
German is too "phlegmy" and I've no clue what Croatia sounds like.
Russian sounds like music to the ears.. [ to me ]
