I am a 19 year old straight guy, I will be 20 in 25 days, I was talking to a girl yesterday, and the conversation led to sex. She asked me when the last time I had sex was and I told her 1 year and 11 months ago.
She got so freaked out. She didn't believe me. I didn't understand. So, I asked other people why this is so weird, but no one would give me an answer, they would just say "It's just weird."
No one knows this, but I've only had sex with one girl, and she broke my heart, really bad, and I just haven't been interested in sex all that much since she broke my heart. I've had plenty of opportunities, but I just didn't take them.
Why is this weird that the last time I had sex was almost 2 years ago?

I think that people, especially youngsters and PARTICULARLY men, are expected to have sex -- or at least want to have sex -- pretty much all the time, 24/7. That is soooo sad because most guys try to live up to this expectation and just get laid with whomever gets on their way just to "take it out". I'm glad you're not one of those guys..... that girl should appreciate it and be happy that she's not with one of those guys who would only want to take her to bed and use her as an object for HIS pleasure -- in other words, with someone who isn't just sleeping around as most do.
I as woman also have had some of my BFs not believe me when at the beginning of the relationship I told them I had been "sex-less" for 1 or 2 years (that was my longest period without, I guess)..... they couldn't imagine that someone could go without sex for so long. Well, I certainly hope they appreciated that I wasn't a shallow sl*t that was just sleeping around for the sake of pleasure....... because it IS true that I remained without having sex for so long. And it was GREAT! I just didn't have someone I cared about and didn't feel the urge to just jump in bed with any guy because I "felt like I needed" to. And I feel very well about myself because of this. If other ppl don't want to believe it or understand it because they ARE sl*ts.... well, too bad for them. Nowadays ppl take sex as a game and they don't think of the possible consequences, so they do it for fun..... it's great that you don't. Don't change that even if they look at you as if you were a freak. Maybe you are..... but in a GOOD way, and hopefully you will remain that way AND WILL HAVE SEX AGAIN ONLY WHEN YOU FIND SOMEONE YOU LOVE AND IT MEANS SOMETHING TO BOTH OF YOU.

Ok well, your a young buck, if you told this girl your staory you just typed up on here, youd be getting giggy rght now!! nah mean! lol nah for real though, not every man is the same, although we are made out to be, my first was at 17 with my girl whos was also first at 18, i dated but want to wait for the one, im married now at age 20. Shes 21. Yet over in the united states, its sen for me to be too young to marry because everyone else with the same birth year isnt. Dont worry about it.

Next time , tell the ladies that you have sex 25 times a day, for 15 seconds each session , for health and mental fitness reasons.

I have a broken heart also and lost my desire to get back into bed with anyone else. I love someone and don't want to be with just anyone who comes along. It needs to be right and have meaning. Not just be like going to the movies or bowling(just something to do for laughs)

the first time i had sex was when i was 19....and that was ok with me. i had opportunities. but why waste myself on people who could really care less. so for the people who are shocked at how long it's been shows alot about them! who are they having sex with ??? but yeah that's all i have to say.
