maybe he wanted to nail his son on a cross? Here is a God who can do all things, can he not make us perfect to get in to heaven, why? maybe he is not strong enought to make us holy and righteous as him? Maybe you do not pray for his perfection in rigthessness ?do you think God is to weak to make someone like him? or did he want to put Jesus on a cross? murder maybe?
maybe he lied to us and really hates his son? here is the great seeker for 6 yrs praying all the time for holiness and perfection in his heart, and the christians most all say he desired his son on a cross and no one can become perfect....maybe you do not ask? In time we will see? whos right the christians who say God can not do all things and crusified his son for us, or the great seeker who says God sacraficed his son because the Christians never found the way to holiness to get into heaven. But look for someone to die for them.

There is a different school of thought on the crucifying of Jesus. Spiritualists believe it was so Jesus could destroy the illusion of death. There was no other way for the nothingness of death to be demonstrated.

Very well put together question. Why do you feel that this is a touchy question? It is in fact a very relevant point. 'Christians' consist of so many different sects that is is very difficult to to discover what they really think collectively! I am not really sure where to start, but try this:- The Christan religion (supposedly) was left in the hands of the Roman Catholic church. They were firm in the understanding that Christ died on the cross to pay for all their sins (past and present). Christ was crucified by the Romans, at the behest of the Jews, (Christ was a Jew)! Now the story of this tale came to light some 300 hundred years after the death of Christ. Let us consider the actual story of this Jesus, as portrayed by the New Testament, Have you really looked into this? Some Christians really believe that he was actually God visitng us on earth! Most don't, they think he was the Son of God. You obviously were not asking the likes of me this question. I am atheist, but for whatever it's worth I am not 100% convinced that this feller never excisted! If f he did then he was a so called prophet

One Bible verse says, "It pleased the Father to put the Son to death..." This doesn't mean he enjoyed having his Son executed. It means God loves us so much that He gave His most precious loved one to rescue us from a death sentence. Jesus willingly suffered my sentence for execution for my spiritual crimes. He is my Hero, My Lord, My Very Best Friend, My Big Brother......and the list could go on and on, but you see what I'm trying to say. He loves me and that is more than my own family was able to do. I was abused very badly from infancy onward. By age 18 I planned my suicide. Before I could carry it out I met Jesus. I've had a tough life in many ways, but I have always found Jesus to be real and every bit as good as the Bible says He is. People can argue religion. They could ignore me. But, I have experienced the presence and love of God through Jesus. I am a witness.

The Law (the Torah) is considered by the New Testament to have been completely fulfilled by Jesus (Matthew 5:17-18). Complete fulfillment could only occur with the moment of Jesus' death (John 19:30). That death is considered the culmination of the Law (Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:24-25; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 10:12, 14). Everything occurring to Jesus prior to that moment would have had to be under the Law. Yet, neither the physical condition (blemished), the age (over thirty years of age), the date (15 Nisan), the location (outside Jerusalem and its Temple), the executioners (Romans), the method (crucifixion), nor the cause of Jesus' death (either asphyxiation or shock), is in accordance with that prescribed by the Scriptures for the sacrificing of a paschal lamb. Therefore, the Law was not fulfilled in Jesus. The evidence shows that he could not be equated with the paschal lamb.

Gods were created by primitive humans to explain what was, to them, inexplicable. Jesus is just one of many fictional god-men. Most of Jesus' attributes and teachings were "borrowed" from older myths and philosophies.

Did a historical Jesus exist?
http://www.nobeliefs.com/exist.htm

ALL CLAIMS OF JESUS DERIVE FROM HEARSAY ACCOUNTS

No one has the slightest physical evidence to support a historical Jesus; no artifacts, dwelling, works of carpentry, or self-written manuscripts. All claims about Jesus derive from writings of other people. There occurs no contemporary Roman record that shows Pontius Pilate executing a man named Jesus. Devastating to historians, there occurs not a single contemporary writing that mentions Jesus. All documents about Jesus got written well after the life of the alleged Jesus from either: unknown authors, people who had never met an earthly Jesus, or from fraudulent, mythical or allegorical writings. Although one can argue that many of these writings come from fraud or interpolations, I will use the information and dates to show that even if these sources did not come from interpolations, they could still not serve as reliable evidence for a historical Jesus, simply because all sources derive from hearsay accounts.

Hearsay means information derived from other people rather than on a witness' own knowledge.

Courts of law do not generally allow hearsay as testimony, and nor does honest modern scholarship. Hearsay provides no proof or good evidence, and therefore, we should dismiss it.

God didn't want to let Jesus go to the cross but it was the only way to open the door to God for us.He is a perfect being who can do all things. He made man a perfect being and placed him in the Garden of Eden but man sinned and now we all pay the price.God didn't allow Jesus to go to the cross just for the Christian's He let Jesus go to the cross for ALL mankind, but only those who accept Jesus will see heaven. Also, the Bible says that God is love, and He can not lie.

Seeker,
I have read your questions and received your last email a couple of days ago. I, myself, feel as though you are confused with how you express yourself. I prayed to God to tell me how I might reply to you, to give me some that you might benefit from. This is what he gave me.
Matthew 7:1-5
2 Thessalonians 2: 9-12
The Holy Spirit instructed me to give you this:
1 Timothy 6: 3-5

And told me to say this:
"But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's word ..." 2 Corinthians 4:2
"I warm everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from this words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book." Revelation 22: 18-19
"For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud arrogant, abusive disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having ther appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all as was that of those two men." 2 Timothy 3: 1-9
The Bridegroom keeps Peace with His bride. Anyone within the Body that does not follow this IS NOT a part of Christ. Be careful where your feet tread for it is not wise to stir up tension within the Lord's people. He sees all and knows all, and His hand is mighty to those whom He smites. Pray to the Father and Son that your spirit might be free from the one that has hold over you now. He is not worthy of you and the evil ones grasp is strong. Only God can free you. Not his arrogance and pride. Be free from this sin, my brother. And you will know God.
2 Corinthians 4: 4

Forgive me Seeker, but this was what I was told to say. It's your message from the Lord. Please, do not discard it. I pray that you can see through the devil's disguise and through your own conceit. I pray that your confusion is replaced with the real Truth. And that any Christians who are glamorized by Satan's trickery through you are saved and spared by the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 4: 6

God Bless you lost lamb.

"Christianity...[has become] the most perverted system that ever shone on man....Rogueries, absurdities and untruths were perpetrated upon the teachings of Jesus by a large band of dupes and imposters led by Paul, the first great corrupter of the teaching of Jesus." --- Thomas Jefferson

“The son-ship of Jesus Christ is the greatest fiction of human history.” (Lord Bishop of Canterbury Commission, the Spiritual Head of England, 1910.)

“The son-ship of Jesus Christ, the Trinity, the blood sacrifice of the lamb of God, atonement are not the teachings of Jesus. These are all inventions of Saint Paul who never really met Jesus.” (Hastings Rashdall, The Theory of Good and Evil)

"Initially there were 34 gospels that were compiled by word of mouth. Four were chosen for unclear reasons and 30 were left behind [burned]. (Encyclopedia Britannica)

“There is strong reason to believe that St. Paul fabricated the belief system of Christianity from Zoroastrian mythology. In order to hide Paul’s plaigerism… Christians burned the library of Alexandria in 390 A.D. Books in that library kept Mithra’s original story of what Pauline Doctrine is an almost exact copy. (George Sarton , Introduction to History of Sciences) ,

Why would a perfect God need a human sacrifice to be able to forgive? Why did God kill himself -son to be able to forgive us? Why was his blood necessary for forgiveness? Is he not all powerful? If he is , he could have forgiven without having his own son-self killed.
This is OBVIOUSLY a man made doctrine, a God would not need blood to forgive.
