What made you turn to the religion you have so much faith in?

I will be open minded, and I want to state my piece.

I believe that humans go through hard times, in such times one may turn to "God". Believing that if he has this faith, he will make it through all his hardships. What I see is.... people being asked to put blind confidence into and once something successful happens in one's life, they give the religion all the credit. I believe humans themselves, have the ability to make it through obstacles themselves, it just takes a clear way of thinking through problems. We can be quite emotional in our problems, have stress, but at the end we get through problems because we finally see a certain way. It is not "magic" or the will of someone else. It is in "YOU", no one else.

Once again, I just want to hear what you have to say, regardless of what religion you believe.

I own a chrysler new yorker 1988 and it sags in the back of my car but the small airbags in the back that originally came with it have no holes rips or tears the hoses seem fine to give it air when i turn my car on the generator to pump them up makes a noise to make the back end go up then its a little better but i was looking under there and after about 15 seconds after it pumps air to them it makes like a click noise then it sags back down again the noise comes from the air compressor thing but when i first got the car it never did this what could be wrong so theres no leaks or holes so what?

I am very tired, and I am afraid to go to sleep, I find myself drifting into a nightmare, I try to wake myself but the sleep is debilitating
so I slowly roll over, I try to pinch myself, only to find out that the pinching must be already in my sub conscience, I rolled over I am awake I finally escaped the sleep I was falling into, this is a horrible feeling, and I am now asking what I should do, It feels like I can't wake myself up, as if I am on a drug that paralyzes me, I don't want to go back to sleep right now, perhaps I will wait?

Political correctness is there to help the minorities and treat them fairly, but is it infact breading hatred amongst the majorities. It seems now that if you are a minority you can say and do as you please the same can not be said of the majority of people in this country. Something heavy or Gothic, pref. with some female vocals, dark and atmospheric, catchy songs, oiriginal but also comfortably traditional. Not too much widdling. Nothing boring where all songs sound the same. Double bass drums and some guitar solos. I like bands like Paradise Lost, Within Temptation etc. sort of Gothic Metal.
