YEAH, anytime. BUT then, your device drivers nightmare begins. Unless you have specific or special need for 64bit, better stick to 32bit. There are a lot more mature drivers for the 32bit version.

Your processor (a Core 2 Duo) is a 64-bit processor, so you can install the 64-bit version of Windows 7. Since your machine is fairly recent, there should be 64-bit drivers for all of your components. And the drivers are very stable- it was only when people first started switching to 64-bit (5 years ago) that there were problems.

The 64 bit install version of XP is made for your PC. So dont hesitate to install it...

Yes it would work great BUT!!!!!!!!!! The 64 bit OS has fewer drivers and compatible software than the 32 bit version so check that all will be well with your hardware and software before you upgrade.

Install it. The purpose of a 64bit processor is to install a 64bit OS.

as your description, I think yes, I also brought the 64 bit celeron, but 32 bit windows version, (crying.....) waste of my talent!
