My husband insists that I slept with the female neighbor. I am hetro not homo or bi. Sorry if anyone takes offense to those words. That just leads me to believe that he is looking for a way to take the blame off of him and put it on me when I did nothing wrong so he feels better about himself.

I rarely douch, don't use IUD, I'm fixed, I was taking an antibotic for a week. Normally take showers but took a bath for the first time in 20 years then found out that my brothers cats use the bathtub as their litterbox. He says he cleaned it but just the thought of all the bacteria, ewww. I haven't accused the husband of anything yet, he's the one accusing me.

I didn't say I lived with my brother. He lets cats do that, he is single and I guess just lazy. Because the neighbor is not straight and the husband believes that you can't be friends with certain people unless you are that way. I wasn't raised that way and have no problem with people and whom they chose to love. Just because someone isn't straight doesn't mean that you can't be straight and still be friends with them.

Actually they aren't really sure what causes BV but it is not necessarily sexually transmitted. That being said it does seem as though your husband is trying to push blame on you which is a very common defense mechanism. I think you might try to evaluate your relationship is you are both accusing each other of cheating. Talk to your dr. and look it up on the internet you will find many reasons why people end up with BV.

Check with Webmd.com and, wiping has little to do with it, so has cheating. Calm down and take a deep breath.
You have both good and bad bacteria in your vagina, sometimes the balance gets upset for no other reason except then to be up set. So, just wait.
Do you douche? stop. Do you use a IUD This may do it. A condom may do it, anything may do it. Try the wait and see thing.
If it worries you that much then by all means, go and see your doctor, he may need a lift for the day but, by the time he gets the results back, more then likely, it's going to be gone.
Stop accusing your husband, this may ruin your marriage.

BV is not considered a sexually transmitted disease. It CAN be caused by new or multiple partners, but it isn't transmitted from person to person. It's simply an upset or alteration in the normal flora of the vagina, sometimes caused by douching, or use of an IUD. Just take your medications as directed and it should clear up.

Sounds like you've answered your own question....antibiotics can mess up your PH balance causing BV. It isn't, as far as I know, an STD.

firstly why do you live with your brother and whos the disgusting one who lets the cats crap in the bath?
then why did hubby say you had licky sex with the neighbour? did you when drunk and not remember?
just go tothe doctor and get it fixed if hubbys cheating he will get caught eventually and if you dont trust him tell him either buy condoms or no sex.

You get that by not being careful when you wipe. That's the only way possible besides dirty penis/hand sex.

Dirty anything you put in your vagina including penis, fingers, toys - as it's a bacterial infection.
