Even if you might not believe it, I will say it anyway: I never lose my temper.
Mine is not a case of "dealing with my temper" but dealing with "how must I resolve this without losing control?". It is difficult, but do-able.

Annoying requests, remarks and questions annoys me the most. There's also being insulted, being thrown by racist comments and making fun of my name or other interest.
In the past, my temper was very low. Even a simple little things would drive me mad and I would usually yell with the accompaniment of swear words. Something like "Give me my effing money you mother effer!"
But now, that is all over. I made an oath never to swear again.
I do get mad the same as I did before sometimes but no more swear words. I am also trying to practice how to handle anger by outwitting others.
Here's one such situation that happened to me...
I had a classmate and a friend of mine who once owed me two pesos. It has been days and he hasn't paid me yet. It's just two pesos I thought but I was trying to save a lot of money for something so no owed money gets unpaid.
I approached him and I asked him for my money. He showed me two pesos but when I was about to grab it, he closed his palms. "Give me THREE pesos first?" he said. "What!" I thought "Damn this people.". "I said give it to me damn it!"
"And I said three pesos." He striked back.
I was about to lose my temper when I remembered my oath and at that moment, I thought of something.
"Wait. Didn't you owe me FIVE pesos?" I wryly asked.
"What! I never owed you --"
"Tell you what. I'll give you three pesos but you'll have to get it from that five pesos you owe me. Then, give me the change which would be TWO pesos."
Now he got annoyed " What the hell are you --" At that moment, I grabbed the two pesos from his hands and swiftly put it in my pocket.
He tried to grab the money back but I backed off and gave him a smug smirk. Then I ran.
Me and that guy are good friends. Nothing bad happened to our relationship after if you're worrying. We laughed about that event sometime later.

I lose my temper when people older or much older than me that I think should know better fight over dumb things. I ignore them, walk away and take deep breaths, when I come back and they are still fighting I tell them to sit down, do their job and shut up in the most professional way that I could.

I lose my temper when people do things the wrong way...when they take short cuts instead of working hard for it.... to relieve my temper, I learned how to relax by watching a good movie, listening to my favorite music, surfing the internet...basically anything that can take my attention away from my temper.

When my children do not listen to me and I have to tell them several times the same thing over and over again.
I deal with it by, walking away for 5 mins, take deep breaths, and go back at them again to do what I told them.
If they still don't listen, then I start grounding them or taking away things from them. That usually works and get things done that right away.

I don't let no one talk to me in any kind of way.
I want people to talk to me with dignity and respect.
I will do the same.
