Despite practice I am unable to master the technique of one finger over nostril, turn and blow hard!!! (it still attaches itself to my cheek) Has anyone tried decongestants Eg. Sudafed?
My gloves can only absorb so much nasal discharge, does anyone have any better methods???

I know that whatever % I have i just move the decimal and times it so like 10 % of 20
so
.10*20=2
But how do you do that in your head....i cant multiply decimals in my head very fast...is their an easy way to look at percents?

Scenario: A good friend of yours told you he/she likes you. But you may or may not feel the same about your friend. Lets say you lean more towards the "may not" feel the same way because you're already in a committed relationship and someone you really like. Your friend then tells you after a while that they no longer want to see you as much because it hurts them and they rather you guys just end the close relationship (I guess just being real simple talk once in awhile friends). However, you keep calling them and act like nothing has happened. And then they say "your're selfish" - are you? Why would someone do that - act like nothing has happened?

I am a Christian farmer. I am a member of a fundamential Baptist church that supports missionaries around the world. I give a portion of my income to support missions. Therefore when you buy food that has farm products in it, a portion of your money comes back to me so I continue to support missionaries who spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ . Thank you! Cows. In the first grade we went to a dairy where I fell in love with the smell of cows. I still love the smell of cows. They also remind me of my high school friend who went waterskiing with us. We were in the back of the car "mooing" at all the cows along the country roads. We laughed so hard that to this day we have a secret word that always makes us laugh... moo!

I was listening to a story on NPR about a solider who returned with serious brain injuries and they mentioned that his family is one of very few who have a special photo of the solider that is only given to the families if the solider is killed. I'm curious about this photo. When is it taken, what makes it so special (aside from the obvious that it's given on the death of the solider), what becomes of this photo when the solider leaves the military, is it only taken if they are going into combat?

I have a new tank, and I'm in the process of cycling it at the moment. I'm adding food to the tank (without fish) to help it along.

Can anyone run through what to expect? Like where the spikes should be, what should rise first, etc? I'll be testing everyday, so I just want to make sure it's all on track. At the moment, I have only two sets of test results but here they are:

Day 1 - pH 9.0, ammonia 0.0, nitrite 0.0 and nitrate 0.0
Day 3 - pH 8.5, ammonia 0.4, nitrite 0.25, and nitrate 12.5.

(Yeah I know my pH's are ridiculous, I've tested my tap water and it gives the same readings, I'm going to have it tested at my local shop to check it's not my test but I'm sorting that out :) )

As much info as possible would be great!

About a month ago me and my husband got into a really big fight he said that my kids (3 from a previous marriage) broke the blinds, so I checked them and said where are they broken he goes in and rips them off the window, so I called him an idiot, He then turns to me and says he hopes the baby in my stomach dies (I'm 6 1/2 mos pregnant with his baby) so my first reaction was I pushed him well he pushed me back and during the struggle I got a really bad bruise, so basically he says that I have no respect for him and that I should of never put my hands on him, and if I had him arrested he would have me arrested also. So now its been about a month and we are litterally living like roommates, one side of the fridge has his stuff, and the other side has mine. He doesn't speak to me at all we basically just sleep in the same bed together, and the problem is we both can't afford to live there by ourselves, so basically my ? is do I try to make things work between us or just let him be?

I remember although i had good cats in the past, they sometimes went up on tables, and in areas i didnt want them to go. I now have an 18 month old, who loves cats and is around kittens and cats at my mother in law's home. She has alot of respect for them. I have two yorkie puppies that have been trained to stay our of her room at night, to avoid loud ruckas and mischeif that might wake her. So door open, they do not enter. I watched my old roommates kitten for the first 6 months of her life, during which time i couldnt train her to stay out. Mid- of night she would claw at the wall, knock things down, chew up bottle nipples and binkys, make alot of noise. I really dont want to shut my baby's door at night..I dont mind if the kitten roams in but how do i train them from the begining "not" to jump into the crib, not to jump on her dresser and shelves and NOT to claw at walls.

I am going through a really rough time in my marriage right now. My husband has fallen to satan and worldly ways. He is entangled in sin and temptation. He does not know how to get out or just isnt ready cause satan has a tight hold on him. I love him though and decided that I will stand by my husband and pray diligently for God to work on my husband and bring him back to me a strong, faithful and commited husband and christian. Any advice or scriptures to be given for strength and power and endurance as I go through the hardest thing in the world? Also, please pray for my family and my husband. He is acting in a worldly, satan bound manner and that is not him. I know the real, good and true christian and husband that he is. Thanks for all your help in advace.

We just want to know what its like or if there is anything comprable around Denver, CO? We like the idea that its away from teh city, but we dont know much about Denver and the area. Boulder is too expensive and not really what we want.....help? advice? we are also Catholic and wonder about the schools near there and grocery stores, etc! :)
