Just in America? Oh c'mon! I've got a great one for Canada! Please? Can I?

Dildo, Canada!

From Wikipedia:
Dildo has a long history going as far back as 2000 BC when Maritime Archaic Native Americans resided at Anderson's Cove. By 700 AD Dorset had inhabited Dildo Island.

In 1613, Henry Crout, whilst sailing up Dildo Arm, came in contact with the Beothuks, who were residing on Dildo Island at this time. He traded with them and left gifts.

Ahh, it's fun having the sense of humor of a twelve year old boy.

I'm from Missouri originally and there is a city in that state (a little bit south of the KC metro area) called Peculiar.

There is a little town called "Tightwad" located in a predominantly Democrat-leaning county and a town called "Liberal" located in an over-whelmingly Republican county!

Intercourse, Pennsylvania

When it was named, the word meant "conversation" or "exchange."

P.S. Hey, what's so funny about King of Prussia? It was named after a (reportedly) ancestor of mine!

But you are right, there's a lot of funny ones in PA: Bird-in-Hand, Paradise, Blue Ball, and lots which are hard to pronounce, such as Reading [you know, one of the railroads in Monopoly] which is pronounced "Redding," not "Reeding." And for rivers, my personal tripping stone, Schuylkill. I lived near the "Skoo-kill" River for the first 22 years of my life, and never learned to spell it. Even today, I have to look it up on the road map of the Philadelphia area to spell it.

Three small towns in a row in rural Pennsylvania- Blue Balls, Intercourse, Paradise.

"Paradise" is a common small town name, and "Intercourse" was just the name for a town where two important roads crossed. But damned if I know how "Blue Balls" got its name.

Another one in Pennsylvania - Matamoores (maybe spelled wrong) - it's spanish for "kill the Moorish women."

In rural upstate NY - Cocksackie.
