I am a Christian farmer. I am a member of a fundamential Baptist church that supports missionaries around the world. I give a portion of my income to support missions. Therefore when you buy food that has farm products in it, a portion of your money comes back to me so I continue to support missionaries who spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ . Thank you! Will you stop eating now?

II Corinthians 9:

7: Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

8: And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

9: (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.

10: Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

11: Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

12: For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;

13: Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;

Oh wow! I have?!? Woo hoo!

Your humility is astounding. You don't support the poor or the hungry or charities attempting to make a real difference in people's lives - you only support those who preach a dose of Jesus and hand out Bibles they get for free anyway. And where does your money go? RIght into their pockets. And what do they do with it? Get fat and rich. Trust me, kiddo, it ain't going to taxes.

There are wonderful missionaries out there who choose to preach the Gospel along with volunteering their help in doing that which will actually keep people from starving and dying of disease but I doubt your money goes to any of them. After all, isn't it only homosexuals who get AIDS? Why should YOU support all those people? And if people are starving they should get off their arses and work, right? Meanwhile, going into the depths of the Amazon and telling the locals to worship your God lest they all be massacred by the white man is such a blessing on their cultural society. Want to see a good missionary film? Check out "Keep The River On Your Right". If you're so big on missionary work, why don't you get up off your high horse and head on into the jungle?

I am SOOO excited I could help! Thanks for the compliment. You forget that atheists rely on rationale rather than ignorance, however. Every time we eat your products we laugh about how you're making less than you're producing in this fundie-run country. Welcome to the deficit, brother.

Hallelughahlah!

No I will not stop eating. Missionaries do a lot of good works.
Their actions speak louder than anything they might preach. Wonder if there are any statistics on how many Christians had their faith shaken while doing this work.

did you know when you sell food to atheist, you allow them to receive the nourishment they need in order to sustain their lives and thus go out into the world and spread logical thought which denies the existence jesus or any god that matter? way to support atheism!!! and seeing as how atheism is growing faster around the world every day, you're doing a bigger part to support the growth of atheism than we atheist are doing to help spread the gospel.

edit: so why do you hate jesus?

My client is staffed and operated by very religious people. This staff pushed for my contract getting accepted by my client. I guess, using the same logic as yours, my house was paid by Christians.

In fact, most atheists here have dealings with Christians. Most of our money comes from you.

Do you know how little of that money actually helps people. Most of it is stuck in red tape. My family farms as well, and I have spent much time working in the fields. You may have eaten food brought to you by an atheist(GASP).

Well easy enough, there are plenty of alternatives to your products. I buy organic local foods, so unless you are an organic farmer in MD, your point is lost on me.

P.S. - if you are a farmer how do you have time to be on here, shouldn't you be harvesting or watering?

And yet the number of atheists is growing all the time...

If you're helping spread christianity so well, why is that?

That's the beauty of capitalistic systems. I buy your food to feed my atheist children and train them to give it to those that are needy as well. I guess this means your helping to spread atheism as well.

Shouldn't it be going to support the farmers

I find it disgusting that you take money away from hard working people just to spread your religion

SHAME ON YOU!
