That was a beautiful video. I really liked it, it is amazing to believe that everyone we know, every animals we have ever heard of, every life form we know of, and all the volcanoes and earthquakes and religions, were all on this tiny tiny dot. In the vast universe the earth is nothing.

Beautifully, eloquent, heartfelt, thought provoking and without hope!
I think it is sad that one such as Carl Sagan with all his knowledge of Gods creation could apparently not recognize the hand of the creator on all he surveyed and the hope of salvation, the rock that is Christ Jesus.
Heb 2:5-7
For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honor, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: (KJV)

Carl Sagan is on my list among the most brilliant people who ever lived. He launched the idea of a cosmic awareness and helped millions of people to understand science.

Aw thanks!
I was having to log off and this was the perfect farewell. And no, I think even Pat Robertson would be moved.

Is there anything more useless in Yahoo! Answers than a question which can't be answered without clicking a link and going somewhere else? Are your powers of description too weak to just plain discuss the item without WASTING MY TIME with your link? I am unmoved by your question because you were unable to compose a thoughtful query.

If the Earth is so insignificant, as he says, and we on it so insignificant, it would seem that the suffering we inflict on one another would also be insignificant.
I am moved by it, but moved to sadness that this is what has become of man's view of the earth, and by proxy, himself. Galileo, it seems, has given man this inferiority complex, and I hope he finds mercy for his sins.
