I think it would be safe to say that it's definitly a lot of very young people.........with that said, i was just at their website looking for something in order to answer someones question. should i send them an e- mail asking them why they choose to show "light porn" on their website?

did you notice at the end they mentioned something about "back to school".................what the hell did that light porn have to do with back to school? then people wonder why there's too many teenage pregnancies.

I hear about the similarities and differences between Muslims and Christians all the time. I suspect there is more than just diet involved. Everyone I know has the opposite problem and takes potassium pills. For the fourth time in a year I am being called into the Dr. for high potassium levels.

I've had chronic insomnia for a really long time, and I've tried just about everything imaginable. Nothing really works. Last night, a friend told me she'd heard that eating lettuce at bedtime is supposed to help you fall asleep and sleep more soundly. She went on to say she'd heard that the Chinese are known to feed babies lettuce to get them to sleep. I've never heard of such a thing. Is there any truth to it?

Is this normal, about 24hrs ago, my 18month old cat recieved updates on her immunizations, she has been sleeping pretty much since then only waking to eat, drink, and use the litter, normally she is very very active and running wild, but today when I tried to rouse her all she did was have something to eat, use the litter and return to her basket. Is this normal right after immunizations?

I believe we move too fast. Cars are too fast. Technology is getting unecessary sometimes (Iphone anyone?). We eat too fast and work too much. We don't even spend time with our famlies. And I wondered..has anyone just stopped and listened to the Earth's stories..listened to it's pain and happiness? I think I'll try that.

We live in Alabama. My 19 year old daughter's psychiatrist has told us that we need to seek disability now for her since her conditions have made it unbearable to work. I have no idea what to do next! Do we need to go ahead and inform her current employer that she will not return to work? How many hours a week will she be able to work while drawing disabilty? We (doctor and I) want her to do something. Where do I go to find out to file parpers? Any help here is greatly appreciated!

... I was absolutely sickened by it.
The fact that not only was that person allowed to post about Autism in the "disease" board, asking for a "cure" for it and talking about it like it was some sort of malady or fault..... but then the responses they got likewise spoke with exactly the same revoltingly prejudiced attitude.

As an Aspergian myself, and a representitive of the Autistic community... I request that something be done to change this kind of attitude. We are not disabled, diseased or otherwise malformed. In many ways, Autistic people are in fact superior to neurotypicals, and have capabilities the average person could never dream of. No self-respecting Autistic person would ever want to be cured of that which sets them apart from the rabble.

Autism is not a "disease" to be "cured"!
Autism is an improvement to be encouraged!

Have been working for company for almost 6 months. Coworkers making job unbearable. Have been offered other job and have taken their offer. They are allowing me two weeks before I start new job, but am afraid if I give notice that they will fire me and I need the money from my last week. I really am happy about the new job I am going to be starting, but I don't really feel I owe them notice considering the way they treat me here (unappreciative and downright rude to me). What do you think?

Some scientists think that CO2 levels are higher now than they have ever been. If that's true, then were did all the carbon come from? The law of conservation of mass says that it was all on Earth from the beginning. It was CO2 to start with, then was converted by plants into sugars and fats, then animals ate it, died, and became fossil fuels. So, when humans burn fossil fuels, they are not making 'new' CO2, they are just releasing old CO2. If that's the case, then it is impossible to go above the original CO2 levels in the atmosphere.

On a side note, if CO2 levels were very high to begin with, it would have made rain too acidic for plants to grow, and life would never have started (assuming you believe in evolution).So, as I see it, if you believe in the big bang and global warming, you can't believe in evolution. If you believe in evolution, you can't believe in either global warming from CO2 or the big bang.
That only leaves devine creation.
