I believe we move too fast. Cars are too fast. Technology is getting unecessary sometimes (Iphone anyone?). We eat too fast and work too much. We don't even spend time with our famlies. And I wondered..has anyone just stopped and listened to the Earth's stories..listened to it's pain and happiness? I think I'll try that.

My kind of person.. yes definitely. Mother Nature speaks to me all the time. I have decided to live on the fringe of the rat race and to not fully participate in its folly. I take time to listen to her through her beneficiaries. I see her cry when a piece of unspoilt grassland gets raped by huge earth moving machines for yet another housing development. I see her laugh playfully when she sends leaves dancing in all directions and feel her anger when she takes hundreds of lives. As I write I hear her children calling, the loeries, hadedas, the little yellow weavers starting out new nests in time for the middle of spring..... is it not something that makes you want to believe that there is a Maker.

Everyone should do what they can to protect the earth and environment. But honestly, some people carry things to far. Some people sound like they are stuck in the sixties. Technology isn't all bad. You are using a computer to ask this question aren't you? And I'm using one to answer you aren't I? Modern conveniences give us more time to be with our families. Some people don't take things serious enough, and others take things too serious.
