Notre Dame will be a .500 ball club this year. What everyone has to remember is this is Weis's 3rd year, so all his recruits are only freshman and sophmores. I dont know anyone who can win a national championship with all underclassmen. Now, to top it all off they have a true freshman quarterback, who has literally, no one to throw too. As for the rest of the year, the Irish have only 2 to 3 games they may not win.
The first being Boston College, who plays the Irish tough as nails every year no matter what they are ranked. The second being USC #1 in the country. Third being UCLA who also play the Irish tough evry year. Other than that the Irish should be a 6-6 team. They will prevail and be a very tough and seasoned team for next year and end with a big bowl game victory. GO IRISH!!!!!

The Irish are not even the main suitable winless team interior the country. Colorado State owns that doubtful honor. on the subject of the main suitable factor that is reported for the Irish perfect now could be that they may well be the main suitable 0-4 team interior the country ... might. perfect now the BGS rankings have Notre Dame ranked 99th out of one hundred twenty communities, worse than Duke and critical Michigan yet marginally extra perfect than New Mexico State, military & Toledo and nonetheless critically extra perfect than Rice, Temple and Florida international. the forged information for Irish followers is they might't drop a lot decrease, so it's going to be all stable from right here on in. permit's desire.

It all depends on the offensive line. If that group doesn't get better it could be a very long season. I believe Weis will begin to turn them around and we will see 4-6 wins this season for ND. Contrary to what the Dome haters say, 4 to 6 wins this season will constitute a good coaching job by Weis given the lack of talent accumulated before his arrival.

Of course they will, have you looked at their schedule after USC? I say four games minimum. But for the record, after being there for THREE seasons, Weiss should have had his team way more prepared than this. Did he honestly think his hype alone would be enough to win in college??? And no lame excuses, please. He got ALL the credit when he was winning, so he should get ALL of the blame now that they are clueless.

They'll beat Duke and Stanford (I think...). That gives them two wins.

I'm not sure if they can beat Navy or Air Force. Navy has given them scares in recent years and Air Force has beaten better ND teams in the past.

They might win three...Charlie Weiss will be fired after this year...they spent too much time trying to get Quinn the Heisman and not developing their other QBs...their defense is horrible and the offense can not score...Jimmy is not his brother...I have not been impressed with him at all...I have seen freshman come in and take over...he has not...I think they will win a game, but they will not blow anyone out...

They'll beat the service academies...and probably Duke...I think they will have 4 or 5 wins...Even Gerry Faust didn't screw up the Navy game...
