Seems like to me that one would consider getting a Nanny is they had a challenge with children. I mean, why would she risk having Kevin take her Children away when hiring a Nanny would seem like the simple solution.

When a man says he wants a housewife and a woman who is passive, he gets attacked by feminists. Yet, women feel they have the right to tell men how they should behave in relationships with women. Why? If men can't dictate female behavior why should women be able to dictate male behavior?

Well of course we all know by now that former football great O J Simpson has been arrested for armed robbery in Las Vegas, with his cohorts, apparently holding up some people, trying to get some of his personal property back, or so he claims was stolen from him. He has been denied bail and sitting in a jail cell because the judge considers him a flight risk. The media claims he could get up to 30 years for his crime. I find this quite comical, because some power team
attorneys will certainly come into the case and rescue him and he'll beat the rap, IMHO. What do you think?

Anyway, I want to hear the joke too.

Well, the dog started barking at 4:00 am even though she'd been out and hour earlier. Is this the way to start a morning? I have to get ready and get my kids ready for school (no, she's too little to take care of the dog). I called my husband and said, "That's it - you decide - it's me or the dog". No, I wasn't yelling, I was crying. I explained to him that this was when our lives were supposed to have less stress - not added stress from a dog. I work full time and bring home almost as much as he does. I pay 1/2 the mortgage. He just bought himself a mercedes even though he has another car. I come home from work and cook. I do most of the laundry. I make the beds every morning. He works and sometimes has lunch with friends, or goes to his mother's to eat/nap. He lets the dog out when he comes home. This is not a breed that should be left alone all day. So, I guess I will find out when I get home. I love my husband very much - but I cannot deal with the stress.

I've done SOME research but I'm still unsure..
I've visited with one company...you completely stop making payments to your creditors. After 3 months, they(credit counselors) step in working with the creditors to lower your payments and interest rate. BUT, you have to stop paying them for 3 months in order to "build a case."
I don't want to hurt my already dying credit rate.
Are there any other type of credit counseling services that DON'T require you to hurt your already damaged credit?

and compel employers to provide it, can it also compel everyone to get a high school diploma? Or a job? Or mandate that the parents of a child conceived out of wedlock get married?

But seriously, I have many questions on the various health care plans being discussed, and am still sorting through it all.

But my basic question is about the limits of the federal government's power to, say, require that everyone obtain health insurance. How does this compare with other actions the federal government requires us to take? Where is the constitutional authority? Again, the federal government already imposes many requirements on us, and I believe Mitt Romney instituted a similar state plan in Mass.

Finally, I included my examples about education, jobs and marriage, because studies show these factors contribute most to poverty.

What say you?

Do you think that if I can lose some weight and tone up I would feel more like wanting to get naked in front of my husband. When we first got married I was all about it but now that I have put on weight I am not as confident. I am 5'5" 150 lbs. I'm not totally fat but my thighs and stomach have some "pudge" on them. So do you think me toning up and losing about 20 lbs will help my sex life? By the way my husband loves to have sex with me it's just my self confidence in the way I look that is holding me back now!!

I am dating this guy who seems like a good guy. He is 33 and has spent the last 15 years in a relationship. He said his 1st relationship of 10 years was with his middle school sweet heart which you know puppy love never last. His 2nd relationship was 5 years which he now has a 4-year-old daughter. He admits he was not always a saint, but he do like long term relationships, and is currently looking for one, and feels he now know what to do right. The thing is he really does not have anything. Both relationships were between his teenage and post high school years which meant he was dating these women, but still living at home. He asked me what I was looking for in a man, and I told him. I then added the man has to be financially stable. I made it clear that he did not need to be stable to take care of me, but stable to take care of himself.

Shoplifting & travelling?
my friend was caught shoplifting. she has been given dates for finger printing and first court appearance. would she still be able to travel to the US by car for a short trip (from canada)? what kind of information is shown on the driver's licence at the border crossing? (she'll only have her citizenship ID and driver's licence.)

technically, she hasn't been found guilty. but will this affect her traveling to the states? or would she be refused entry?

i'm assuming that any run-in with the police would leave some sort of a record. but what will show up on the record if she hasn't gone to court yet?

thanks for your help!
