America has become an elitist state where the citizens are incapable of dealing with the intricacies of actually making things work. We have instead some how come to a point where the process means more than the goal. We tend to our processes and tweak them and adjust them and debate them and the goal goes by the wayside and is never even mentioned. We no longer wish to have dirt on our hands or even admit the need for those that do have dirt on their hands.
We speak of welfare and universal health care while the poor in this country live at standards well above the world average.
We constantly seek to remedy the poor yet we allow 12 million from foreign nations to come here and work. These jobs need done if the job is beneath you don't ask for a hand out . If you will not work you will not eat.

Hi, I am interested in knowing your position about constitutional interpretation. The thing is, in Germany (an most of Continental Constitutional Systems) theory recognizes a thing called "constitutional mutation" this means that when the Constitutional Court interprets a constitutional norm, and changes the sense of it, the norm "mutates".
Naturally, there is a way to ammend the constitution, but they do not mean that, they mean that the text stays the same, only the sense changes.
Now, how can I compare this concept with American Constitutionalism? Do you think it is comparable with the judicial interpretation theories? I mean strict constructionism or the living constitution idea....just to name what I´ve read of.

What books or articles do you reccomend me?

Thank you very much.

Hi, I'm trying to choose what colour roman blinds to have in my bedroom. My walls are cream (doors and skirting boards are white) The carpet is a deep heather/pink colour (I think more pink then purple though) my furniture is white. Could anyone suggest a colour of roman style blind that would look good, I'm guessing the carpet is the dominant colour, the walls are the medium colour so I guess I am looking for an accent, white possibly? or is that to stark? Help!! I have no idea!!!

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks x
