Suchindrum is a name of temple and its surrounding area near Nagerkoil in Tamil Nadu.
The Suchindrum Temple is big one made with Gopuram style structure. Also there are many exceptionally great stone engraved statues. The most unusual is 16 columns (may be 32) engraved from one single piece of stone that produces 8 different octaves sound in two scale.

Suchindrum is a temple town situated in the southern most district of Kanyakumari in Tamilnadu State,India.Its 11 km from kanyakumari city and 7 km from Nagarcoil town 70 km from adjacent Tirunelveli district and approx 85 km from Trivandrum city.The town of Suchindrum is renowned for the Sthanumalayan Temple and was an important citadel of Travancore province.
