well..first that Jesus didn't come out in the front of the crowd ..shouting''I am the Son of God!''
Some of the people ....knew He was the Son of God..the people who were faithfull and knew the prophecy..
He asked His apostoles..''Who do you think..am I ?''
When John Baptiser..baptised Jesus ..the skies opened and God The Father spoke in a loud voice :This is my Son...
so would the news say that the sky opened and God said ...This is my Son?
No..they would say..they had auditory halucinations...
why do we try to introduce God..into television..since the television has nothing to do with God...?those who work in tv are proud people that worship the nature...saying the disasters come from nature.
anyway...Jesus wasn't accepted even in those ancient times..entirely..He got killed..how would He be accepted today when some whose name is not advertised claim that there is no God...and led the books of the science where you cannot find the name of God at all..as if nobody has done the world.

all depends on strength of his (? or her?) support. The world of today is a little different. Anyone who can tell big fibs and with multimillionair support can get into the highest and most powerful offices. Look around and witness such results.

If such a person should emerge then he would probably be seen as the Israeli equivilent of David Icke. One thing is for sure he would not be believed!

Simple answer, he would be laughed at and quickly forgotton. As much as all the religeous people running around believe in god not a single one of them would stand next to him and say they believe him as the son of god.
I'm not an athiest more of an agnostic. Open to the concept of religeon but not entirly convinced by it.
God needs to improve my life before I believe.

Remember David Icke?
Same reaction. Laughter followed by a quick call to the nearest mental hospital.

Well, given that of course Jesus was a young Jewish carpenter...
We Jews would be a tad surprised that he'd actually returned, since we don't believe he was the messiah.
Christians would be delighted he'd returned - but probably not overly happy that he was Israeli.
The Israelis would welcome him in for mint tea and honey cake and he'd no doubt accept.

In Western Europe he would probably be put in a mental hospital. In some countries he'd probably be stoned and I mean large boulders dropped on him! In the US he'd either be shot or get his own TV show or both. In the UK we'd just be horribly embarrassed and hope he'd go away.

HE WOULD NOT BE BELIEVED...
Just like Jesus was not believed...even when they saw his miracles.
(Matthew 13:54-55) And after coming into his home territory he began to teach them in their synagogue, so that they were astounded and said: “Where did this man get this wisdom and these powerful works? 55 Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not his mother called Mary, and his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?

He'd be laughed at by the majority of the world and all the Christians in the world would be so indignant that somebody is blaspheming.

Some people would instantly believe it, some would instantly disbelieve it. I like to think that most people would look for some kind of proof before committing. I'm going against my somewhat cynical nature with that last one, though.
