So i left town for a while and i left taffy my dog in my mom's hands well she is pretty big and we think might be. How can I tell?

Was she in heat when you left her? Was there any male dogs around ? Was she caught with the male? If the answer is yes to any of these questions there is a very good possibility that she is going to have puppies. I suggest you take her to the vet to find out for sure.

Call a vet and ask to have an ultra sound or X ray
If you can not goto the vet you need to pin point a date she may have hoocked when you were gone they go 63 days and you will need to get things ready watch for her nipples to fill her belly will get huge and you will feel them move around the 7 or 8 week week 9 she will look like she is going to POP

Call your vet to get an exam. You will need an xray down the line to see how big the pups are- if you have no idea what she may have bred with, if the father was much bigger, she may need a csection.

she won't run and play as much as she use to she'll be more calm and lay down more. she could be pregaunt b/c it is the time dogs go into heat.

take her to the vets. her nipples should be very large and you should be able to feel them in her tummy
