Christ's whole life was a self-denying, self-displeasing life. This is from a commentary on Romans 15:1-7 and I know it but in trying to be more like him, it always helps me to remember WWJD and it is always a struggle for us humans when it comes to our weakest point. I go to a high school with almost 3000 students. There is so much traffic to get to the school on time because we have buses and driving seniors. As a matter of fact more people get there late than early. The prinipal has issued a new rule. Any person late to homeroom will get a detention. So this means traffic isnt an excuse, the fact that our school is massive isnt an excuse, oversleeping isnt an excuse, car breakdown or accident, is no excuse .. pretty much the only excuses are if your on the bus or you have a doctors note. Now I have never had a detention in my life and I'll be damned if I have to have one because I was running a little late one morning. No ones perfect! Do you think this policy is fair?

I sent my cousin (she's 41) a few photos of us ages ago, and not once did she even have the decency to reply. Each time she sends/emails me photos of her, I eagerly thank and welcome them. Now my mum wants to send her a handmade card with photos of her when she was a child. I said to her,"But she hasn't even answered our photos yet from a year ago". Do you think my mum is being too nice, because I certainly wouldn't send her a card like that when she rarely appreciates/acknowledges my communication with her. Before you ask, YES, she did get my photos, as they were sent (as I always do when I post anything to her) via recorded delivery.

It wasnt really that bad of a sprain. Only slight swelling, but hard to walk on without it wrapped up.
But I never went to the doctor and just kept wrapping it up for like 2 weeks. It's been four now and it's definitely not healed.
Im curious what I should do, or if this is just normal.
