On my way to work this morning, the radio station i listen to had a segment about this website called marryourdaughter.com.
apparently parents can submit their daughters to this website for an arranged marriage as young as 13. and this is based here in the united states.
there is also a "bride fee" that is to be paid before the daughter is married.
they claim its perfectly legal, and states so in the bible.
I read the "testimonials" from the parents, and it seems they just want to sell of their child to make a quick buck.

I find this completely appauling, disgusting and disturbing. these parents should be locked up in jail!!!! what has the world come to? As a soon to be Mommy, i cannot imagin doing this to my child.

what are your thoughts? do you agree or disagree with this website? why or why not? would you to do this to your child??

I want to leave my husband for a while. I have made him leave a couple times before and he knows that because he has to live with his mother he will eventually come back and things will be ok for a while but then back to the same old junk. We have been married for alomost 8 years. I have two children 13 and 16 and when we get along we really get along but when we argue we really argue and most of the time it is how I am raising my children he thinks I shoul dbe more strict and i think if you don;t allow them to make some decisions and mistakes on their own they will never make it in this big old worl of ours. we started arguing on sunday it is now thursday and he has been giving me the silent treatment since then. i think if i pack my things and leave perhaps it will give him a wakeup call that i am not going to continue to put up with this crap anymore i love him very much but i cannot live the remainder of my life with these up and down moods do you think leving will wake him up

They hate the president, instead of saying I don't like him as a president, they call him names and say he is stupid, when did this country decide that childish name calling passes as fact and so does hearsay?

I live in London and I'm hoping to go to the US with my family soon.
I think it's so incredible, the food, clothes, shops, the huge spaces of land etc.

What state do you reccomend I go to?
I've only been once and I went to Orlando, Florida. I dont remember it too much as I was young.

Take into account the family has 2 teens in it, and grown ups.

I don't need alot of makeup, but I always end up using everything! {primer, foundation, concealor, eyeshadow, eyeliner, bronzer, blush, mascara, lip gloss} and it's getting to be too much! how can I simplify my routine and still get the same results? oh and by the way, i have dry skin, so no powders for me!

i want to start weaning my baby who is 16 months old from the breast... gradually...and maybe keep 1 or 2 feedings a day...
right now it seems that he is BFing ALL DAY everyDAY!!! and thus doesn't eat much solid food.. he drinks al during the night.. and i feel like i am missing out on some sleep.. which makes me a little cranky and adgitated...
any suggestions would be wonderful.. this baby LOVES the "teta" more than life!!! so i think it will be quite difficult to do... thanks

I have tried so many things to lose weight and its not happening so im thinking of trying something new.
