If your gums bleed easily I have to question if you are taking care of your teeth properly. That is usually a sign of severe gingivitis, which is almost always poor dental hygiene. "Infection" smells bad. So the first thing is to brush your teeth and floss every day.
If the breath problem still exists beyond this, the next thing is to rule out the foods you eat. Obvious examples would be garlic and other spicy foods.
Some underlying medical conditions could be affecting your breath...poor digestion, some other gastrointestinal problem, diabetes, etc. Fix the problem, you fix the breath.
If you have ruled out ALL the other issues, then you can try some combination of digestive enzymes, chlorophyll and activated charcoal supplements. They will help too.

Bleeding gums is a sign of Dental disease. See a DDS right away.
Bleeding gums is usually a sign of gum disease. In the majority of cases it is a sign of a condition called gingivitis, which means inflammation of the gums.
If gingivitis is not treated, it can develop into a more serious condition called periodontal disease. Periodonatal disease is a bacterial infection that can damage the gums and tissues in the mouth. If left untreated, it can result in teeth falling out.
Most people will experience some sort of gum disease in their lifetime. This is largely the result of western diets which are high in sugar. Sugary food encourages the growth of bacteria (plaque) on the teeth, which leads to gum disease.
Cleaning your teeth regularly, keeping sugary food to a minimum and visiting your dentist regularly can help to reduce your chances of getting serious gum disease.
=============
as for the breath, FLOSS. Most people have no idea of the stuff between their teeth. Floss DAILY, bush y our teeth for 2 full min, even use the brush on your tongue, (yeah, even in the back), rinse well, and use a mouth wash

I'm not sure about the bleeding gums, or if it's connected in any way to the bad breath.
But for bad breath, brush your tounge and roof of your mouth when you brush your teeth. Lots of bacteria collect there throughout the day.
Also drink plenty of water and stay away from acidic foods, your breath problem could be comming from your stomach. Poping a few antacids (rolaids, tums) after you eat could help too.

Bad breath is caused often because you haven't brushed and flossed well .If you don't keep teeth and gums free of the bacterial buildup, they'll start to cause odor as the bacteria rot leftover food particles in your mouth. A few seeds of cardamom chewed for a brief while will clear your mouth of bad breath. Chew parsley leaves,which are sure to keep your breath fresh. Start brushing your teeth both in the morning and at night and floss every morning. Make sure you change your toothbrush every 3 - 6 months.
