Like Shawn Green vs. John Smoltz. Just this year Shawn Green is 11 for 19 against the HOF pitcher. That is crazy! And in his career I am pretty sure he is like 27 for 55. He just kills him. Do you have anymore like that?

Barry Bonds against Kevin Tapani - Bonds went 12 for 22, with 3 doubles and 5 homers. He also walked six times, and had an OPS of 2.007 against him.

The same guy you used, Shawn Green, is also 15 for 35 against Greg Maddux in his career and has a .512 OBP against him.

Ichiro is 12 for 19 in his career against Aaron Sele, for a .632 batting average. And Todd Helton kills Livan Hernandez, going 32 for 66 against him with 12 doubles (and a .557 OBP). Or Carlos Delgado against Tom Glavine - 10 for 17.

Carlos Delgado vs Jorge Sosa. They're both on the same team now, but before that, I think Delgado had 8 HR's in 18 at bats against him.

Willie McCovey vs. Steve Blass. Blass tells a story of the Pirate flight being late into SF, but instead of waiting for the team bus to take him to the hotel, McCovey had a limo waiting for him.

Yes, I know it's pure bunk, but that shows you how much Blass thought of the one-sidedness (Is that even a word?) in their facing of each other.

Ted Williams used to say that hitter-pitcher matchups were always in the hitter's favor - as long as he was the hitter.
