Depends how close the relationship is. If you're in the early stages, just getting to know each other, you might bring the subject up in conversation - but keep the tone light, so you can pass it off as a joke if she reacts badly. If you know her well enough to hug, then when you embrace her let your hand slip down, land a light smack on her bottom and see how she reacts.
But if you're already having sex, then you should be able to tell her that's what you're into. You'll soon know if it's her thing too.
