I too have tried various diets and only seem to put more weight on when I stop them.
I tried slimming world but after the first 2 weeks I didn't lose any more weight even though I stuck at it for 6 weeks.
Weight watchers works for me, I find going to the meetings gives me support and more motivation- listening to other peoples ideas and what works for them is a real plus.
I lost 6 lb in two weeks and then slowly but gradually lost the weight which is the best way to do it AND the weight stayed off!
There are usually special offers, like free membership if you try the weight watchers website and they can tell you where your nearest meeting is and now they do a 'monthly passport' that works out cheaper than paying monthly.
I found Weight watchers gave good advice on healthy eating as well as exercise and I liked the eating plan because I didn't have to cut out the foods that I enjoy- just count them into my plan.
Good luck!

Weight watchers and slimming world work for some not others. I saw that the bigger women and men tended to do better on slimming world and those with smaller appetites on wieght watchers. Rosemary conley is dangerous as they are not trained properly to teach exercise. Lighter life is a new one that costs a bomb £66 pw but is the best one for losing lots of weight quickly and they give you counselling.
Sure slim costs £425 and they check whats wrong with the nutrients you have, lacking or your body is not absorbing.. again, some people are fine on this.
I tried a raw food diet and it worked for me..
You don't eat anything if its been cooked. salad and fruit n nuts mostly. fist time in my life a salad filled me up because thats all there was and I soon got bored with chewing salad n fruit so didnt eat as much. I learnt that we should never eat until we are full cos that is when we have eaten more than we need. Diets are all mind over matter...
They work for famous people cos they can afford others to cook, exercise them and surgery.
Good luck

A couple of years ago I joined Slimming world. But had to give it up. The diet wasn't working for me. I was always hungry and had to fill up with water. Don't get me wrong ,I lost a lot of weight very quickly. But you're not suppose to hungry or lose weight very quickly. So I've just resorted to eating everything in moderation and exercising. That seems to do the trick for me.

If you live is Swindon then Helping U Slim is the best and the cheapest from only £3 a week.
Do not go to slimming world it is a fad diet and all they are interested in is your money I worked for them for 4 years so I know, you would not believe some of the things they do to get you to part with your hard earned cash.

I lost 3 stone with weight watchers in 7 months. They now have a monthly payment plan which is cheaper than the weekly amount. It also allows you unlimited access to their website. It's free to join at the moment.
Couldn't get on with Slimming world

My wife has always used wieght watchers
I think its free membership at the moment.
JUST EAT A BALLANCED DIET
There were no fat people comming out of the POW camps ??
If you eat more that you burn then your body stores fat.
Just eat good foods at regular intervals and dont miss any.
I believe I am right in saying if you miss meals your body thinks it aint going to get anymore so it starts to store fat again.
Stick with it it saves you money in the end You can get in your wardrobe again as you clothes fit
I am on a diet at the moment cause I was getting a beer Belly
I just cut down on sugar and stopped snacking but eat normal at meal times LOST 7lbs now in two weeks
Nealry back to my Sixpack

There is no real secret to losing weight..... Exercise at least 30 Min's a day at a good pace! Eat healthy, no junk food- whatsoever, drink plenty of water, stop driving your car everywhere and walk or ride a bike more. Don't wish to sound harsh but this is the "reality" of losing weight and staying in shape.
All the best in your quest. : )
