AI will be a good thing if used wisely. It make our life better by giving us service and infomation. Maybe one day when you walk to the infomation counter and talk to the infomation girl, the girl is not a human but a human shaped robot, giving you all the infomation you need to know without any mistakes.

People have some strange ideas about AI. It is not the answer to all of mans problems, nor is it some saviour with all the answers like Data on Star Trek. IT is not some evil Jinn that is going to take over mankind. It does have some great uses and will be a handy tool for people to use.
I find the creation of AI FUN... please feel free to look at the sites below and talk to some of the AI bots.

Please google and read Ray Kurzweil. AI will not only make our lives better, it already is. We're all here communicating with each other thru the use of computers and the internet aren't we? Don't think of AI as something separate from human kind. One day we will (and we're already starting to) merge with AI. We will become transhuman - part machine and part biological. Nothing to fear. We will evolve into the next phase of humanity.

AI is still far from the actual goal according to me... AI may be a good and a bad thing....
Good thing is man's life will become more comfortable and more work will be given to machines....
Bad thing... Man may be indirectly ruled by computers and privacy of man may reduce....

Well it is totally up to us, I mean we can use it for good or for bad. I personally do not believe in strories that say one day AI will become the human's enemy! I think it will not harm us but will be there to help us
