This doesn't make sense to me. If I paid something off, how can they in the same sentence say it was a charge off? This makes the account look negative when it isn't. If I dispute, will they have to take it off?

My son was jumping on his bed and fell. He cryed that his foot was hurting, was limping, and his foot was getting a little puffy. I brought him to the emergency room. The doctor had an x-ray done, which showed no breakage. I was told to treat it like a contusion, but to keep an eye on it, and my son's behavior. A week later my son was visibly limping, there was bruising, and his foot was still a little puffy in the the bruised area. I brought him to the pediatrician. The Doctor told me that he suspects that even though it didn't show up on the original X-ray, my son has a hairline fracture. He then told me that I need to keep my son off of his feet for another 4-5 weeks. Then, he proceeded to wrap my son in an Ace bandage, stating that hopefully this woud encourage him to stay off of it. I asked the doctor if it should be casted, or atleast splinted, and he said he felt it not necessary. Shouldn't
a hairline fracture be splinted, at least?

My brother's girlfriend is completely obnoxious! When she comes over she always makes fun of him in front of the family, like she thinks it's cool or something. She isn't very attractive and when they go swimming I want to throw up a little in my mouth. They are always fighting over something petty and what-not. She will throw a fit and leave, but the next day it's like nothing ever happened!

I don't think they are right for each other. But my brother won't hear it. What should I do about her?

The Senate Democrats, despite the resignation of the Attorney General, have said they will continue their investigation. It would be interesting to hear what it is they believe they are investigating. Senator Feingold said he was sure a crime had been committed although he had no specifics. Perhaps the Senate Democrats could put their fertile imaginations to work, temporarily laying aside the important task of dreaming up lurid hypothetical dangers for destitute voters, and try to imagine any hypothetical crime that might conceivably have been committed by firing the US attorneys. After all, one of the president's responsibilities, spelled out in the Constitution, is to "take care that the laws be faithfully executed." Since there are laws against vote fraud, for the president to tell US attorneys to prosecute vote fraud, one would think, is merely to carry out his obligation under the Constitution.

Feminists with sons: Do you want your boys to have men's rights and not be discriminated against by feminism? How do you feel about the fact that feminism has caused society to focus on breast cancer awareness, but ignore prostate cancer? How do you feel about education being given more attention to girls, while boys are ignored in comparison? How do you feel about the fact that if your son becomes a loving caring father and husband, yet divorced an immoral and abusive woman, the courts will side with her and won't let him see his own children and he'll lose much of what he's worked hard for to her? How do you feel about how it's now politically incorrect just be a man? Should your son be referred to as a "potential rapist" as feminists like Andrea Dworkin has alleged? Do you want the best for your sons?

Also, feminists without sons -- if you did have a son would you want him to have rights?

to pave the way for a communist government?

Antonio Gramsci believed one way to achieve control was through the education system. Gramsci presumed that the existing system of education in his native Italy was structured to keep the "established" societal classes in their respective place. He realized that intellectuals could be produced by an educational system to perform a function for the dominant social group in society, in order for the ruling class to maintain its control over the rest of society.

Yesterday I took my 15 month old son to the park. First time I have in a while. My son was playing with a little girl who was about 2 yrs old her mom was ofcourse considerably younger then myself (Im 36) and she asked me "Do you have other children". I paused and changed the subject. The reason why I changed the subject is because on labor day of this yr my daughter passed away. She was 14yrs old and the light of my life the reason for 13 yrs that I woke up in the morning and the reason for every breath I took my world revolved around her (her brother was born 13yrs 1 month 15 days after her). 3 yrs ago my daughter was diagnosised terminally ill and was on a waiting list for a new set of lungs which we never got for her and had we got them no one knew if she'd be strong enough to undergo the transplant. Anyhow she beat all the odds from 12-03 until labor day of this yr and I was and AM so proud of her. On the thursday prior to labor day I found her unconcious and not breathing w spit

I often tell people that everybody has a different list of characteristics and even personality traits for god.
The only way that a group of people can agree is putting them all in the same room and someone talking about it from a pulpit of authority.
Saying that god manifests himself in people's minds in different ways is pretty much the same as saying that he's a creation of the mind of individuals.

And they come back with "Manifesting itself in different ways is exactly what I would expect of god. It just shows how great he is."

It annoys mee to no end.
It's grabbing what I say and turning it around in a such a way that they end up 'winning'.
And I can tell that their objective is to 'win' when I talk with them.

What do you say to these people?

... if all companies had a single, standardized application form, so one could just fill theirs out, print out several copies, and distribute them to various places of business?

I know that some companies want to make sure that the applicant is willing to put forth the effort to fill out their forms, but from past experience I've found that some of the nicest application forms produce some of the most shoddy workers.

So, why not? What harm would having a standardized application system cause?

Is it possible to feel the symptoms of pregnancy before you would test positive on home tests? I'm probably freaking out about nothing but my stomach has been feeling very sensitive lately and I've been feeling more tired than usual. My boobs aren't sore and I've taken a home test and it came out negative. I'm not due for my period for about 11 days.

**And don't worry, I take full responsibility for my actions. I do and always have understood the consequences of having sex. Although if I am pregnant I do wish it would have come later than sooner. But either way it would be a blessing to me.
